Eris scrunched her nose cutely, then giggled and nodded. "Lead the way~" She said, hoping he'd wrap his wing around her again. It made her fell so... safe.
Thunder smiled and wrapped her with his wing again. He nuzzled her and lead her out. Outside, the town was small. Most of the buildings were tents or small wooden house, but all that made the view even more beautiful. The rainbows fallong down like waterfals, the clouds around the area. Everything was lovely.
"It's beautiful..." Eris breathed, looking at the waterfalls. She'd have to put some of those in her realm somewhere...
"That is why I brought you. I know you would like it." He said as he kissed her in her nose. Ponies were walking around the area and many ahops were there, open.
"Books?" Eris asked, hopefully as she looked around the shops and stalls. She was still unused to being so short; she was actually smaller than Thunder in this form. She stood on her hoof tips, trying to see a bit further.
Tbunder giggled as she did that and smiled, then carried her on his back so she could see around. There were several places that had books, but in one was a purple unicorn with a really big amount of books.... and a pink earth pony trying to sell them, something destined to happen again one day
Eris felt a little foalish riding on Thunder's back, but quickly forgot about it when she saw the books. Her eyes went wide, and she jumped off rooting through the piles of books, and wishing she'd brought more to trade.
He smiled at her and lead her there. It looked that the pink pony was trying to do the deals while the other one... facehoofed. Yeah. She was a bit annoyed at that.
Eris had soon managed to find twice as many books than she could trade for that she really wanted, and was standing, looking at them all in despair, trying to pick.
Thunder just remained behind her, looking around. The books in there were quite a collection. It went from science and that kind of stuff to more casual reading like novels. Most of them looked in excelent condition. Others looked a bit old but well treated.
Eris finally decided on which books she wanted, and headed over to the two ponies, to see if they would trade...
Although the pink one wanted to make bigger deak for juat one book, the unicorn, looking like the owner, avcepted the offer Eris made, changing one book for another.
Eris grinned and hugged the purple pony before carefully putting her new books in her saddlebags and returning to Thunder. "Thank you~!" She said, standing on her hoof tips to give him a kiss, "You always take me to the bookiest places,"
"Lets go to one of the falls." He said smiling. He took Eris' hiif and lead her to the furthest one eo be alone with her. In there, they could see how the rainbiws fell down like if they were made of normal water. A beatiful view.
"I wonder how it works..." Eris said, curiously as they watched the falls. She reached a hoof out to the falls, and it came back rainbow coloured. ------ The zebra had talked to all the residents of the town now, trying to gather what information she could on the pair, but she hadn't had much luck; after they had brought the ponies to the town, they had only visited a couple of times, and nopony seemed to know for sure where they came from. A simple attack would be reckless, and probably suicidal; even if she managed to kill the creature, Eris, the knight Thunder would surely strike her down, so that left subterfuge. The pair seemed very friendly and trusting, so she just needed to find out a way to get even closer... She had figured out that one of them was quite the book fan; the presence of the library made that clear, and she theorised that a mix of compliments and shared interests would allow her a more private audience with the pair, so she could make her move. She knew the importance of familiarity with one's surroundings, however, so she decided to seek out their home...
Thunder smiled and giggled at her hoof, then gave her a soft nuzzle in her cheek. "I also wonder the same."he said smiling as he sat beside her
Eris grinned and booped him, leaving a rainbow mark on his nose. She giggled and conjured up a jar, filled it with the rainbow fluid, and tucked it safely into her saddlebags. "I can study it when we get home." She said, smiling happily. "You said Princess Luna was presiding over this?" She said, suddenly, looking at Thunder. "Do... do you think we could meet with her?" ----- The zebra searched all the lands surrounding the town, but found nothing that looked like the home of a knight and a demi-Goddess. She was standing a little way away from the town, slightly frustrated, when she noticed a faint shadow on the ground in front of her, as if she were standing below some large, unseen structure...
Thunder scrunched his nose and giggled at what she did, then nuzzled her cheek with his rainbow nose. "Sure. We can go and see her." He sajf smiling
