"My brave knight~" Eris said, smiling weakly, before lapsing into unconsciousness. "We must go, Thunder," Lone said, standing at the bedroom door, looking at Eris sadly. "I shall look after her as best I can." Courage said, solemnly, still on the bed, ready to tend to Eris' every need.
Thunder made a sad smile at those words. He kissed her nose and got off the bed. "Thank you." He said to courage before walking with Lone. "Lets go." He said to him. Thunder lead him out of the house, then to the portal. He didn't knew how much time they had, so he had to hurry up. As they walked out of the portal, he turned to Lone. "Oh, one thing. Ponies doesn"t like timberwolves. Can you change into another animal? Like a dog? This would help all this run smoother and wong draw that much attention aa we gather information." He explained to him.
"That would probably be wise," Lone nodded, then concentrated for a moment and turned into a shaggy brown dog. "I will not be much use in this form if we have to fight," He warned, as he looked back at Thunder. "But hopefully we can avoid that."
He nodded. "Don't worry. I will try and avoid fighting at all." He said as he started walking. He left for the crystal empire to gather some info first and also take the train if needed
"Any Idea where we should start?" Lone asked, as they walked, "I've never really had to track anyone before..."
"Okay, so I suppose we ask the ponies at the ticket office if they've seen a zebra?" Lone suggested, as they reached the station, "Can't be that many zebra coming through here..."
He nodded. "It is rare to see a zebra out of their homeland, even this far." He said to him as they arrived. Thunder walked to thr counter. "By any chance a zebra took a train not si long ago? Perhaps a few hours ago?" He asked the pony.
The pony looked at him suspiciously. "Why do you want to know? I can't just go giving out passenger information to anypony who asks, you know..."
"She poisoned the one I love and I need to find her to get the cure." He said, frowning a bit to him.
The pony looked a little concerned, but still not entirely convinced. "I'm... I'm sorry, but I still can't tell you; not without some kind of proof. Have you reported this incident to the guards?"
"Tell him you're a knight, that you're working on behalf of Celestia!" Lone whispered, hoping nopony would notice a talking dog.
"Alright." He whuispered back before he turned to the pony. "As a knight of the princess, I demand answers." He said, stomping his hoof
"You... You are?" The pony looked at his armour, and noticed he had wings and a horn. "Why didn't you say so to begin with?! I apologise!" The pony cried, apologetically. "Yes, a zebra did pass through here; she took the train South. The next stop is dodge junction, but she bought a open ticket, so she could have gone as far as Sapphire Shore, on the South coast." The pony tapped his hooves together. "Again, sorry I didn't talk before... I'm not in any trouble, am I?"
"No. Thank you. Now, give me a ticket there, I need to catch her." he said as he let some bits on the counter
"Uh, of course, here you go," The pony said, handing over a ticket. "On the house," He added, pushing the bits back towards Thunder. "I hope you find her."
They managed to find an empty cabin, where they could talk without being overheard, and sat down. "She said she was being employed by Celestia, didn't she?" Lone said, pondering out loud, "So she'll probably be headed back to her, to collect her payment." He shook his head in despair. "It's won't be easy to get to her with Celestia around though..."
He nodded. "It will be hard, but we have to go and see. It will take some time to get there, so we should make a plan." He said
