She tilted her head slightly. "Okay. I'll get my things together." *** He sighed, relenting. "Okay. I'll stay."
He nodded, standing up. "We should do that too." * * * She nodded, propping her chin on his chest. "Thank you. I'm sorry we fought."
"Alright," she said warmly. "Meet me here later?" *** He tilted his head. "It's okay. You should get into bed."
He gave her a small salute before heading for the door. *** She pulled away, heading back over to the bed obediently.
She waved, setting down her cup as she gathered her things; lights, grappling hooks, and a bag. *** He sat on the edge on the edge of the bed. "How are you feeling?"
(Zoop?) *** “Better,” she said, leaning back against the pillows. “I get sad when I don’t get to talk to you.” She laughed lightly, shaking her head. “It’s so stupid, Cy. I miss you so much when you’re not around.”
There was a knock on her door that evening. * * * She looked up at him for a moment before tilting her head. "How's it going in the house?"
She opened the door, her bag slung over her shoulder. "Ready?" *** "It's okay," he replied slowly. "Not much different."
He had that bandanna over his mouth, but gave her a smile. "Yes." * * * She sighed, watching him. "What about you? Are you okay?"
He raised an eyebrow before starting on his way. "Where to first?" * * * "Yeah, well... I'm still here."
"Let's get to the kitchen, and we can grapple up onto the counter once we're there." *** He nodded, leaning back. "I'll stick to visiting."
"Okay. What are we getting here?" * * * "As opposed to what?" she asked playfully. "Want to live with me?"
"I need sugar and flour. What do you want?" *** He laughed slightly. "I would if I could. It'd be a hell of a lot easier."
"Some tea. I'd die for some more tea." * * * She laughed before pausing, sitting up and looking at him. "Why don't you?"
"I need to get some supplies. Toothpicks." * * * "I could live with you," she said earnestly. "And I know you're unhappy."
"Alright. These are all things we can find there." *** He looked thoughtful. "Neither of us would have access to the house. Are you sure It'd be okay?"
"Any things you need to warn me about?" * * * "Well, you can sleep here for a few nights. Test it out."
