She grinned, taking a bite before brightening. "It's good!" *** He frowned at her before slipping his shoes on. "I'm going to get food."
(Discord?) She grinned, beckoning him. "Come try it!" *** "Yes. It's breakfast time and I don't know the last time you ate."
He came over and sat on the edge of the bed, looking curious. * * * She frowned before standing up. "Then I'm coming with. You don't know the area."
She cut off a piece and offered him the fork. *** He tilted his head. "Okay. But if you feel sick, then you have to come back here."
He took a bite, considering it for a moment. "I am a cooking god," he said flatly. * * * She frowned before shaking her head. "I'm completely well again."
"If we venture into the kitchen again we should look at that thing you saw again." *** He shook his head, waiting for her.
"The block?" he asked, looking over at her. * * * She joined him at the front door, shivering slightly.
“It was the thing the humans put ideas in. I don’t know what they’re called.” *** “I don’t need a coat,” she said, waving him off.
She looked confused, clearly in thought. "..Book?" *** He glowered at her. "You're shivering. Get a coat."
He shrugged uncertainly. “I wouldn’t know. I’m not allowed in the house.” *** She frowned before going back to the bed and pulling the blanket off.
She gestured with her hands, opening a book. "It has two covers, and pages with words and stuff." *** He crossed his arms. "..You're going to get it dirty."
“That sounds right.” *** “Oh my God,” Dahlia said, throwing her hands up in the air. “You must think I’m stupid.”
She nodded. "Mystery solved." *** He waved his hands in surrender. "No, I'm just saying there are easier solutions!"
He huffed slightly, but looked interested. “Could you teach me?” *** “Yes. You and I can’t go out together.”
