He also looked a little confused, gesturing to the house. "Me? You don't want me living in your space."
He seemed confused, tilting his head. He was quiet for a moment before he spoke, and his voice almost sounded like he was on the verge of tears. "Why?"
He watched her, his shoulders slumping. He was quiet for a moment before he spoke, sounding like he had come to a decision. "Okay. Okayokayokay. Okay. Fine."
He dropped his hands, shaking his head for a moment. "Christ," he muttered before looking up at her. "I adore you, Nas. More than I thought was possible. I just..." He took a deep breath and spoke in that low voice of his, sounding almost panicked. "You're like the sun, or the air or something. I just... I feel like I don't ever want to be without you." He jerked his thumb over his shoulder. "I was out there today and it was so terrible and hellish, and all I could think was that I needed to get back to you..." He paused, seeming at a loss for words.
Her eyes widened, and she watched him intensely. She didn't seem sure what to say. She knew she couldn't touch him, but that was all she wanted to do. Hold his hands or take his face and.. well.. "Victor.. You mean so much to me as well. I just wish I knew what to say to convey that as well as you did, but I feel the same."
Something softened in his face and he watched her for a moment, his brows furrowed nervously. "...really?"
He laughed breathily, watching her for a moment. His eyes were catlike and he considered her before moving forward, kissing her deeply, his hand gently tipping her head back.
She blushed, her hands reaching up to hold his jaw, but hovered. Her eyes fluttered closed, and she was still as she kissed him back.
He pulled away ever so slightly, his lips still brushing hers. He gave her that smile before reaching out, resting his hand over hers and pushing it to rest on his own jaw, permitting her access before kissing her again.
Her fingers brushed against his jaw. She held it a moment longer before pulling away gently. "I don't want you to go, Victor.."
He watched her, his brow furrowing. "You want me?" he repeated, raising an eyebrow. "You really want me?"
He considered her for a moment before kissing her forehead. "I guess... we should sleep for a bit," he said uncertainly.
