Nascha huffed, looking over at him. "Bad enough to stay home today. I think it was a staple that did it."
“It’s fine,” he said, looking down at her. “But I promised Nas that I’d stay home for the day.” Dahlia’s brow furrowed and she nodded. “That’s a good idea. You shouldn’t push it.” She looked up at Osiris. “Right?”
Victor squinted at them but sighed, shaking his head. “I’ll be back tomorrow. Will you let the others know?”
She gave Nascha and Victor a small wave, turning to leave. "Did you notice they were leaning on each other?" Dahlia asked Osiris as they got far enough. * * * "Did you notice they were holding hands?" Victor mused to Nascha after Dahlia and Osiris left, looking down at her with a small smirk.
Osiris raised his eyebrows at her. "I didn't really notice. What do you think?" *** Nascha laughed slightly. "Yeah. I saw."
"They were leaning on each other! Plus, she wanted to stay with him..." * * * "Yeah... might as well."
He nodded slowly. "Hm. That is true." *** She nodded, offering her hand. "So do you think those two are together?"
She kissed his cheek before pulling away. "Okay. We should split up. I'll see you later?" * * * "Probably," he said, taking her hand. "I know they're very close."
She gave him a smile, dimpling slightly. “I love you, Cy.” *** “It would. I don’t think Osiris likes me very much.”
She grinned before pulling away and letting go of his hand, turning and heading down the river. *** “I don’t know. He just always seems grumpy when I’m there.”
He went to his own section, a small frown on his face. *** She shrugged. "Maybe he's always like that?"
