Does anyone here read Douglas Adams? His works are both funny and creative, if a bit random, but that's part of the fun.

So are there any fans out there who want to discuss the books he wrote?

Yeah but the thing I liked about the books is that you could have dropped the series at any time just because the endings were vague enough for another book, but solid enough to say that it's over.

I love how everything seemed so coincidently on purpose. Like Agrajag, who got killed somewhere around a million times. That whole part with that dude was golden! Also those random digressions that are thrown in the mix ever now and then (I can't quote one, I lent my copy of the series to my sister).

I still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.

"This is obviously some strange usage of the word safe that I wasn't previously aware of. "

(Are we just going through our favorite quotes?)

Anyone else noticed that Twilight Sparkle had 42 as her number?

That was in "Fall Weather Friends." And yeah, pretty much everyone noticed that.

With what all references were snuck into the rest of the season... probably! XD
I loved the books! I have them all in one big hardcover somewhere... I really need to dig it out and go through it all over again.

@ 11:10-11:12 in said episode, on the start line for the race:
    ...I'd say it was intentional.

If so, then 'Ford, you're turning into a penguin. Stop it.' has got to be mine. Never laughed out loud at a book before.

I love the 5-part trilogy and have read it multiple times. And one of my favorite parts is the one Ripp_ quoted above!
The BBC broadcast and the new movie are also quite good. (When the latter came out in theaters my friend and I attended in bathrobes with our towels. It was awesome.)
