The duel team of automated rail layers pass the Hastily prepared villages. Back at the landing craft, an armored locomotive is slide onto the new tracks. It's boiler is reinforced with double steel plates and a large plate covers its wheels. A set of passenger cars file out after it and couple with the locomotive. "Captain Firebreeze. We request permission to build a railway joining our current settlements"
Jhera woke up with a start. 'That dream again...' he thought. 'I don't remember what happened! Why can I never remember!' Rather then pondering the topic more, he got up and broke his fast on some plants that were potato-like, but were red with green cores. They tasted much more sour, too. As he readied his gear for the day's work, and Fernleaf came reacing out of the shed. "I found another plant!" She exclaimed, beaming. "Great!" Jhera replied. "I'll test if it's edible later, right now I have to sow the rest of the seeds." Jhera had decided to upgrade his occupation and become a full-time farmer on this new planet. He had long since given up on Equestrian plants, and now grew the more native species. He quickly planted 10 acres of land using the new equipment that had been imported from a differing colony. It was fantastic! The new technology cut his time to 1/5! Finishing his work, he looked at the sky. "That's odd..." he inquired. "The native star hasn't moved an inch...are those unicorns shirking their duties!?" And with that he headed off into the now prosperous village in search of answers.
Firebreeze went to his ear piece with a smile, "Build away, captain, build away. The railroad would benifit us both."
As felix cut's some meat out of the dragon. he spots some armor *Huh? why is there armor* felix said. He goes into the dead dragon and picks up the armor he looks at it and see's some words on it and says *Oh no..* a worker comes to him and says *what's wrong?* the worker said. *It's one of my troops armor* As felix walks off.
Rashall strode across the bridge of the Ragnarok until he was standing at the edge of the sensorium pulpit at the front of the room. "Take us back to the planet that we dropped Deft Wind on, it's time we gave her more supplies," says Rashall. The ship lurches as it moves forwards towards the previous world they had past on the way in. About an hour later and they arrived in high anchor above the target planet. A transmission code was sent detailing that they had arrived to drop off supplies for the survey team in the mountains, then they waited for a response.
"Deft Wind how is it going here?" Asks Rashall to the red colored earth pony. "Boring, but it's going good none the less here Rashall. Thanks for the supplies I didn't want to have to ask the colonists to give us some of their food," says Deft Wind in response. "I'm thinking about pulling you and your group out of here if it's too boring for you," says Rashall with a smile. Deft Wind simply laughs and tells him goodbye as he leaves.
As felix is at hes hut. A worker walks into hes hut and says *I think we need to make more Colonies*. *Later my friend* felix said And walks outside he yells out *i name this village water lily!* As villagers start cheering *I'm also gonna make more villages on this planet!* Then he goes into a small ship to fly to a new part of the planet
Firebreeze was walking through the city when he was approached by a soldier, "Sir, we may have a problem." the soldier said. "What is it?" Fire replied, walking with the soldier to the observatory. They walked inside and to the telescope, "Take a look." The soldier said. Fire looked in to see what looked like falling meteors, "All I see are space rocks, we can take care of those." "That's just it." The soldier began, "We've already tried! Even our best weapons won't take them out!" Firebreeze tries zooming in on the meteors, when he noticed something, "Those aren't meteors," he said, "They're pods."
A brand new steel rail now runs through the settlements of The Victor, automated messages requesting the colony to provide its own station for its freight and passengers. Atop each of the machines flies a flag portraying Cobalt's cutie mark. "Rejoice, Ponies! A new home is upon us! With the power of our combined fleets we shall make this a home that even all of Equestria will hail in comparison!". Cobalt notifies Firebreeze and Rashall, "I do request we meet soon to discuss borders. We wouldn't want any disputes." Soon after the message is sent, 2 of the 4 Support/Attack craft that were along side the Soft Rains descend through the clouds.
"Sir incoming objects, they're falling rapidly towards the planet below. What are your orders?" Asks one of the crew in the sensorium. "Recall strike cruisers Shadow Veil and Razor Wind to our location. Go to code indigo and prepare all astartes for immeadiate drop," says Rashall in a calm voice. Within seconds warning klaxons sound as the crew of the wraith barge go to action stations. Below decks the astartes or Angels of Death prepare for battle.
With automated cannons aimed at the mysterious objects that burn through the sky, the Valkyrie and the Wyvern pull into defensive positions around the landing craft. Sirens call all hands to their weapons, and civilians are moved to the center of the developing settlement.
"This is fury squadron one going to escort status. Dropships do you see us, we're coming in on your six and will escort you down, out," comes a call from the fury group.
The pods began to hit the ground as Firebreeze put his armor on. He lined up with his troops near where the pods crashed. Smoke was everywhere, and the Flames of Trial troops hardly knew where to aim their melta-2 sub machine guns. Then, multiple insect-like humanoids emerged. They were ugly, with only one glowing yellow eye and a biological weapon where their right arm should be.
Jhera peered upward and saw what he thought looked like shooting stars. "Huh..." he wondered. "Those don't occur around here?" Jhera looked off into the town and saw military ponies running this way and that, which was even more odd than the stars. He trotted up to one. "What's all the hullabaloo about? Something important happen?" The guard gave Jhera a cold look that completely freaked him out. Whatever it was, it certainly wasn't good. "We cannot tell you, citizen, but I strongly suggest you get back to your home right now." And with that he sped off. The answer left Jhera more confused than he was earlier. He glanced around to see other civilian ponies, but saw none. "Please, move along!" a guard said as he sped past. Whatever was going on, it was serious. He had to get home and make sure Fernleaf was still there, he didn't want her in the midst of any of this. (Due to the event, is the post limit removed for the day?)
As felix drops off 50 workers at a new land. Felix orders them to make some huts and some walls. Then he goes back to water lily to get some troops
A flash of light suddenly appears off to the left as Rashall and a contengient of 1st company terminators teleport in on location besides Firebreeze and his units. "Well looks like you could use some help here Firebreeze," says Rashall with a smirk.
A squadron consisting of one central dropship and two single-pony fighters acting as 'bodyguards' for the dropship land beside Firebreeze's forces. About 15 Armed and Armored ponies step out behind cobalt, himself wearing similar navy-blue armor (Minus the helmet)
(yeah, I wanna get this story up and running like hell) Fire smiled when the reinforcements arrived, "nice to see you boys." The Flames fired at the bugs, who fired back with red lasers that punched right through the FoT armor. The bugs were going down as well, just not as fast. Firebreeze watched as the melta-rounds pierced the skin of the bugs, yet they kept going. "Let's get some heavy MGs!" the captain yelled out.
"FERNLEAF!" Jhera screamed as pods flew into the ground all around him. He was about to run into the house when a pod smashed through the cieling and obliterated it. "NO!" he yelled. He felt something heavy on his back and threw it off. "You dirty mong-" he stopped when he saw that he had just thrown Fernleaf. "Fernleaf!" he exclaimed. "C'mon! We have to get out of here pronto!" Jhera scooped up the scared filly and bolted away from the farm as odd robotic things climbed their ways out of the pods, which continued to rain down upon them.
