"Put captain Firebreeze on vid com if you would please," says Rashall to Deft Wind, she simply nods her head and turns on a recorder. "Captain Firebreeze nice to see your still alive," says Rashall with a slight smile.
Jhera looked at Rashall. "It's okay, I'll be fine! Honest!" he said. He laughed and continued with "So what were those things anyways? They looked way too advanced to be our technology, do you think somepony else had their eyes on this planet before we landed?" He got a sudden worried look on his face. "No...that must not be it. How are the troops fairing so far? They seemed pretty panicked last I saw them." Fernleaf walked over and looked at Jhera intently. "They were fighting as hard as they could when we left, but I'm not totally sure if they'll hold out..." She spaced out, and Jhera could tell by looking into her eyes that she was remembering the judgement day of Equestria. How long ago that had been, yet not as long as he originally thought. He sighed and decided that the best thing to get would be some rest. Fernleaf regarded the projection of the pony curiously. He seemed powerful enough, but she seemed to remember his face from somewhere. She couldn't quite put her hoof on it, but she remembered him. Of course! He was the one she passed when she boarded the connector ship! How interesting that he show up now, when her brother had just passed out. She walked up to the projection and began to listen to the conversation.
Rashall looked off camera to answer the other two ponies questions. "We managed to drive them back and destroy them, as to your other question we may never know what their intentions were," says Rashall.
Firebreeze smiled at the hologram of Rashall in the meeting hall, "It's good to be alive, Captain. Now, on to the bugs. Does anypony know anything about these freaks?"
Fernleaf piped up "Hold on, When those pods crashed into our house, I saw some of the wood disintegrate, so they definitely can't be stopped by the normal trees of this world. I had'n-" she stopped when she saw the stares of the commanding officers. "Yes...sorry...continue".
Panting and slightly bleeding from his right eye, Cobalt looks over the various splayed out bodies before me. "Lieutenant, connect me to captain Firebreeze and Rashall." "Yessir!" As I'm uplinked to a com with both of them my wrist computer boots up and the lens cover opens up. "Is this connecting secure?" He leans his head off screen and coughs, then turns back to the two
"Good, it is important that we discuss what our next move is; We cant afford another disaster like this. In my opinion, We need to build our orbital defenses up"
Fernleaf looked at Cobalt upon hearing his voice. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "Captain Cobalt! How nice to see you okay! How are the ponies down there? Is everypony all right?" She pulled a sealed green bottle out of her bag. "My brother experimented with some of the flowers here, and he was able to create an odd sort of quick-healing draught. I could whip some up and send it down to you to help with the injuries." She was suddenly surprised at herself. She had matured a LOT since they had left Equestria. The fact that ponies had just been slaughtered right before her eyes didn't seem to trouble her as much as she was expecting. It scared her a bit.
"If it does not bother you two I would rather meet face to face rather than over this connection," says Rashall.
Fire looked at Fernleaf, "That could come in handy... But, orbital defenses, we'll need some serious fire power to take out the pods in orbit. And, yes, let's meet face to face. Maybe in one of the transport ships."
"I was thinking along the lines of this mountain top, but if you two would rather come to Nekar that would be better," says Rashall.
Though interrupted, he doesn't react negatively, and Cobalt smiles at the rather enthusiastic filly, nodding "That would be wonderful, every bit helps. Now as a response to your request, Rashall, i agree that is in our best interest. However I currently must remain on the ground until this area is cleared."
Fernleaf looked to Rashall. "If it's okay with you, I'd like to come along. If I can salvage some of the flowers from our farm, I could possibly save lives!" She asked out of politeness, but she didn't care what his answer would be. Even if he denied her, she'd find a way onto his pod anyhow. She walked up to him stood by his side. "My brother will be fine when he wakes up." She said to a nurse. "He may panic because I'm not there, but just tell him I'm helping ponies."
"No both of you are coming along with us, Deft Wind tell your second in command to keep an eye out here your coming too," says Rashall the stormraven had already left to pick up Nexus and his terminators, "I hope you don't get queasy, Ragnarok teleportation is a go," says Rashall into his mike, suddenly a blinding with light envelopes all and he opens his eyes to see that he is inside the teleportarium of the Ragnarok.
(Talking to Jhera's characters and the events are also happening with them, basically they teleported aboard the Ragnarok)
Jhera woke with a start and looked around. He realized he was standing. "What the hay!?" he exclaimed. "What happened to the bed?" Fernleaf looked at him and smiled. "We're going back down now, we should really see if we can make more of that healing drought you made from those green flowers." Jhera rubbed the back of his head. "Well, okay I guess, but that only worked for minor cuts, I never tried it on anything major. I suppose we could get it to work." He looked to Rashall. "If we could get to my house...or what's left of it...I could probably salvage some of the flowers."
