"I was thinking you'd never steal, & you might hate me for it...", shade says, her voice fading

 

"it was a dark time in my life. My dad was framed for a crime he didnt do. My family was about to lose our home. My brother had just died. And my mom was extremely ill"

"yah but now it haunts me"
