"Umm... No...", shade said softly

 

Timestopper opened the book and flipped through the pages and stopped on a very old and dusty page. Timestopper blew some of the dust off and he coughed. He then showed the page to Shade "Try to sound it out"
The page read:
'There was a crooked mare, and she walked a crooked mile,She found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile;
She bought a crooked cat which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.'

 

"Th-ere once was a cr-ook-ed mare, and she wall wal..."

 

"walked...." Timestopper said

 

Shade blushed slightly,"walk a crooked mily, she fo-fond? Is that right?"

 

Timestopper shook his head "Walked a crook mile, she found..."

 

Shade blushed slightly,"I'm terrible at this...", she said softly

 

"Just try again" Timestopper said

 

"A crooked sixpenke against a crooked still, she bo, bow, ba...", shade started blushing furiously

 

"bought" Timestopper said

 

"M-maybe we can put this off 'til later..."

 

"are you sure?"

 

"Yes, please…", shade replied

 

"ok" Timestopper said putting the book away

 

"Thank you…", shade says, nuzzling timestopper

 

"your welcome" Timestopper said nuzzling her in return

 

Shade smiled,"so what do you wanna go do?"

 

"I don't know, what do you want to do?"

 

"We could get something to eat, I'm feeling hungry…"
