(that was a bit of a ballsy move destroying the island. I hope you know i'm not actually too happy about that, but i'll get over it. As for Kleft...we'll find out) Kleft came to in an oddly colored bed, with the slight swaying motion of the ship. He tried to move, but his limbs wouldn't budge, as if all his nerves had been disconnected. He tried to speak, but couldn't move his mouth either. In fact, even his eyes wouldn't open. 'What did I do to myself?' he wondered, and he simply sat there, unable to perform even the simplest of tasks.
"You over used your powers and it almost cost you your life, says another voice pushing itself inside your head. (yeah I know it was a move but hey I saved over half the residence of the island and I'm about to throw a curve ball at you.)
Kleft decided that whoever was invading his mind must be able to hear his thoughts. 'Who is this? Is this the pegasus from earlier!? Tell me truthfully, why would you ever think of destroying a 200 year old population that was thriving? You claimed you weren't attacking us, but you were the one to destroy us in the end! Answer me!' (When did you save the residence? You just nuked it, I thought I was the only one you teleported to the ship)
"Get some rest, you nearly killed yourself back there. The survivors will want to know that you are alive, but you must promise not to hurt anypony or wolf on this ship. Now go to sleep and heal up," says Rashall. (post number 46)
Kleft stayed quiet a moment, than said 'How long will I be in this condition? Also, who survived? If the Chancellor is here, I request to speak with him. Now.' He forced himself to breathe slowly, than, with great effort, managed to open his eyes. The room was magnificent, full of technologies and medicines he had never dreamed of. He was still unable to turn his head, so he didn't get to see much but the ceiling and the apparatus he was hooked up to. (ah, ok)
"Unfortunately he staid behind, my friend tried to convince him to come but he declined. If you must know he is the one that told my friend that the island needed to be destroyed, my friend then told me through telepathy what needed to be done," says Rashall out loud, "As to how long you will be like this Jorvus told me at least another two hours," adds Rashall.
Kleft was startled by Rashall's sudden speech, as he had no idea he was nearby. He managed out a small grunt. 'Chancellor Mathiss was never one to give up his cause, and he was a great leader. His loss will be mourned, and may his soul rest with the stars. I should probably sleep for the next two hours. Wake me up when you think I can move, I wish to see the survivors.' With this, Kleft let his eyes close and fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.
(Two hours later) "Come on get up, but slowly we don't want you to over exert yourself," says Rashall nudging Kleft.
Kleft woke slowly. His muscels had all locked up, and it was nearly 10 minutes before he was out of the bed. "This won't do, I can hardly walk!" He said. He than conjured a purple platform under himself and he floated up to Rashall. He grinned. "I learned that from the Chancellor himself!" His expression saddened at the mention of the Chancellor. "Let us go." He said. And floated after Rashall.
"Well now that you are back up what do you want to do first? I know you wish to see those that we managed to save, but I know you have questions for me to answer," says Rashall while walking. You notice that there are four guards surrounding both you and Rashall walking along with you.
Kleft thought a moment, than replied with "take me to the refugees, there's someone I must speak to, and I believe she will want a chat with me too. "
"Very well there's a lift forward to your right it will take you down to hanger bay 01. Look for Swift Wind and tell him I sent you, I will join you momentarily," says Rashall before walking off. Two of the guards stick to you though not paying attention that Rashall is leaving.
Kleft glanced at the guards, nodded with approval, and floated forward a few feet and took a right. He dispelled his shield he was standing on to stand on the lift. One of the guards operated it and it went down into the bay. Kleft was fascinated! Lunar Island's technology was primitive compared to what was on this ship. As the lift stopped, Kleft forced himself to begin walking on his legs. It was painful at first, but it certainly helped remove the stiffness. A silver pegasus confronted him a few feet away from the lift. "And who might you be, wandering around here?" He asked. Kleft replied with "That gray pegasus sent me, I need to speak with my fellow survivors from the island." Kleft then realized that he didn't even know the pegasus's name. The silver pegasus looked surprised. "You're from the island? I am so dreadfully sorry about your loss." With this he walked to the side and allowed Kleft through. Kleft continued to the refugees.
Kleft wandered to the end of the hangar, where he saw many terror-stricken unicorns huddled together. A teacher stood near some colts and fillies, no doubt all now orphaned. He looked around the crowd for a moment, until he spotted a rust-colored mare alone in a corner. This was her, he was sure of it. He walked up to her. "Chancellor Starfire" he adressed her, and bowed. Many nearby ponies gasped in surprise at the title. She seemed even more shocked. "What- I don't- what did you call me?" She stuttered. Kleft looked her in the eyes. "You are the Chancellor, so I shall adress you as so." He replied. She brought him close and whispered "how did you know I am now the Chancellor!?" Kleft gained a malicious smile. "You just told me. Besides, you were his most prized pupil, there was no doubt in my mind that The Hand would stay behind with him, and that he would make you our leader. I will be honered to service under you." At this, he set off through the crowd to look for his best friend. Perhaps he had the mind to have come along.
(whelp night Jhera, hold off on posting until tomorrow, or at least until I come back online, I have something I would like to do for the ponies that you are controlling.)
Kleft still walked through all the ponies, looking desperately for his closest friend. He began to panic. 'What if he stayed behind on the island?' he thought. In his random running around, Kleft slammed into a cream colored pony and they both went straight down. After he brought himself back together, he looked at who he ran into. Just his luck, it was his friend's brother. "Fist! Oh, thank the stars, where is your brother? Is he ok? He didn't stay behind did he!?" Kleft began blurting out questions when Fist put his hoof over Kleft's mouth. He sighed and replied "No, you're right, he stayed behind to fight for the island. I don't think he even realized that when these ponies suggested coming up, they planned on completely obliterating the island." His look turned sad. "I'm sorry." Kleft looked at the floor. He couldn't believe this. His parents weren't on the ship anywhere, and his sister had died a couple years earlier. He was completely alone. He turned and stalked off. Kleft didn't want any more of this hangar, it brought too many depressing thoughts to his mind. He continued back to the lift (with his guards close behind) and went back up. He figured it was time to begin questioning Rashall. (Try PMing Crimson, he will probably let you in considering not much has really happened so far.)
"Will all survivors of Lunar Island please make your way to the flight deck for a special ceremony, that is all, comes a call over the loudspeakers.
