Sprite noticed the look and remembered... "Comrade, please, whatever you see me do there, do not judge me for it. It will be for the best, trust me." She fumed in mock anger. "You stink, man! I mean, seriously!" She shook her head, and shrugged. "Ah, well."

If you are looking for terms of surrender than I’m more than happy to accept them. But I hope you’re ready for what’s coming next. You will all not survive if you challenged me.
I really hope he's doing what I think he's doing. Ecliptic thought as he barely dodged the magical attack. In any case, I'll need to study Plague and his abilities longer to understand how they work and any potential weakness.. The attack left his tail slightly singed. Focusing on a chunk of a rubble behind Plague, Ecliptic brought it into the air and flung it at one of the purple figures.
Pain continued to stare at Plague, "I come...To offer my services to you and help you." and with that, he charged Ecliptic seeing what he was doing, and right before impact, Ecliptic could hear Pain whisper, "I'm sorry." right before slamming into him with the force of a speeding smartcar, he went lightly to avoid any true inguires.
Sprite noticed the rubble. She closed her eyes, and waited. She didn't want to hurt Pain, but that was just rude She came up behind Pain silently and kicked him. She waited till he turned, then jabbed him in the stomach. None of the attacks hurt badly, and Pain realizes that Sprite is trying to act as she would if he were a potential enemy.
Pain merely picked Sprite up, "You know that's little more than pokes to me comrade?" he asked, then proceeded to throw Sprite right to the top of a building, to get her out of the danger zone, then he quickly made his way to Plague's side, hoping he pulled a convincing enough performance, "I will fight beside you."
The Purple figures barely flinched at the stone being thrown at them. Plague noticed this and laughed. "I must part ways with you. When i return, Equestria will be reduced to ashes and my army will rebuild with your people as slaves. This will be the death of all of you." Plague and his purple figures then disapeared
Pain cursed when Plague disappeared, "All the theatrics for nothing!" he raged a bit, before suddenly disappearing into the rubble, he knew that he would have to work on his own from now on. But with the Justice Society comm unit, he sent one last message to Sprite, Failed, got to be on my own now. If you want to find me, use the contact inside, don't use this.
Ecliptic got up and shook his head. Nothing felt broken, but he was definitely bruised. He understood Pain's intentions, and tried his best to look convincingly shocked, and snuck a wink at the others.

Mare Do Well (as she was called when in costume) mostly hung to the back of the group. As the only member of the Justice Society without actual super powers, she knew when she was in over her head. This was one of those times. After Plague disappeared, she made her way toward Eclipitc and knelt beside him. She whispered to him, "You alright, Newbie?" Her mask remained expressionless, but the concern in her voice was evident. She knew that Pain at times wasn't able to keep his strength in check.
Joker messaged the J.S on their current situration. "Joker here, status report." He awaited what could be good news, but he was never sure.
"Yeah, I'll be fine," Ecliptic responded, "Ugh..though I know why he's called 'Pain'. What about Sprite? Is she alright?" Ecliptic was slightly disappointed that the encounter had been so short. Without extended exposure, he wouldn't be able to properly analyze Plague. Well, so far I know he has a huge ego, very powerful, and believes that he is invincible. Which hopefully isn't the case..
"Chief, we gotta talk." groaned Sprite, and shut off the phone. No telling if Plague had tapped the phone.
(When everypony arrives at the base.) Joker was busy searching through files of Plague when he seen the rest of the squad arriving back without Pain. Joker was a bit cautious about asking questions, as he thought they would get angry at him. "Sorry to ask this to you guys, but where's Pain." He said as calmly as possible.
The Gentleman was not having a good day. First, news comes to him that four good thugs of his had died, apparently part of a mass murder. However, only an hour later, it became quite apparent that this was worse than mass murder; this was a rampaging slaughter. And an Alicorn who was called 'Plague' was apparently the one rampaging. Several more of his hired goons had been hurt or killed, but at least he had more knowledge of this Plague character. One of his undercover men (actually, they were almost all undercover) had managed to record the entire confrontation between the Justice Society and this seemingly invincible pony, and had been rewarded on the spot with a week off. The crime lord sat and watched the shaky, unprofessionally made tape for the tenth time. It seemed that one of the Justice Society had defected, although betweem the grainy quality of the camera and the significant distance from the fight, it was impossible to discern their facial expressions. He would have to look into this as well. In the meantime, he had ordered his men to keep tabs on Plague at all times. None of them were to confront him yet, and they were to report every detail back to him. He also had several live camera feeds on the psychotic alicorn courtesy of the local news networks that were on his payroll, though they were not of much help, as they had to stay so far away to avoid being killed violently. A thought suddenly occurred to him. If I take him down, I could get a reward for this. A big reward. Probably anything I ask. He smiled for the first time that week.
Mare Do Well grumbled. "Unsatisfactory" was not the way she would've put it. "We went in completely blind. Plague had us beat before the first buck." Her anger was definitely evident in the tone of her voice. She'd never trusted Pain from the begining, and she was annoyed that she had had no say in his "plan". What's to say that the former crime lord wouldn't go back to his old ways after being with Plague for a time? Then the JS would have two major foes to take on. She grimaced under her mask. "I get it. We need someone on the inside. Maybe Pain was our best shot seeing as he's a Villain." She didn't use the past tense. She sighed, collecting herself. "Any new intel on Plague? Something that we missed before, Joker? He mentioned a 'Mistake' that killed all of the alicorns. Any idea what he was talking about?"
"yep, before joining here I was a mercenary and I came passed a few foal alicorns, cadence and Luna either die or become seriously ill but plague he's definatly different than the other alicorns but how. Unless he's the cause of the illnesses". Lifepool said while walking in with a sheathed red ruby edged steel katana and handing it to sprite. "this will do you good this was my blade before upgrading to these blue sapphire bad boys". Life whispered so only sprite could hear him.
