"Well..." Luna thought for a moment looking up to the ceiling, trying to think, but then she had remembered, "Ah yes! The mages, I remembered them, not clearly but I do remember them some. That is amazing that you have found such a time and date Nebula. Thank you, I can tell you what I remember though."
He smiled, "It's quite alright, I've been cross comparing dates between books and finally figured out the year. The date and the time by day I can't find within normal texts." He smiled again and yawned slightly, then he suddenly shook himself violently, "Forgive me, princess!"
"There is no need for forgiveness nor apology, Nebula." The princess said calmly. She smiled, then she leaned towards Nebula kissing him on the forehead. She giggled then continued walking, "I can tell what all I know, like I said."
Nebula blushed violently and he shivered, "Y-yes princess luna!" He slowly pulled out a small sheet of paper and he began to scribble a few notes down for when he needed to go and talk to her. He smiled widely and then he asked, "Is there anything that you need from me at the moment, ma'am?"
"Not at the moment, now then, shall we begin?" "The last I remembered these 'Mages' so they were called were far beyond my power. How did I manage to defeat them? It was mainly because of an enchanted Alicorn Amulet, it gives a regular pony the power to do what a Alicorn can. But if an Alicorn had put this on, it will give them limitless power. It was a long, two day battle between us, and I could only do what I have been doing, fighting, fighting until I took my last breath. Once they rendered me harmless... for some odd reason I had blacked out. Once I awoke, I was weak and near death, but the mages I saw before myself were defeated. I did not know how it happened, but something or somepony had to have saved me, or I did..." She trailed off once again trying to think about what had happened to her.
Smiling widely, he wrote everything he could possibly do. He giggled as he suddenly realized that everything as actually starting to fall into place with the information he already had. He looked at her, "so you blacked out and the mages were defeated, whilst you believe that somepony else saved you?" He asked, his face suddenly completely concentrated.
"That I do not know, I had no allies near our position, and I had not seen any other pony around us, so thats all I can tell." Luna said with a bit of confusion stirring up.
Smiling to her, he giggled a little bit and yawned, shivering slightly as he realized his sleep schedule had been very interrupted. He looked down, "I'm so sorry princess! I-I promise I will try to stop yawning!!"
"It is not a problem Nebula, you don't have to stop if you don't wish to." Luna said looking at the bat pony, but as she turned around to walked in front of him she winked at him.
Nebula yawned more times, each time biting his lips with his fangs. This caused him to bleed a little bit, but otherwise he seemed alright. He whispered, "T-thank you princess, I'm sorry I am not to standard with the rest of the guard..." He looked rather downcast.
"Not everypony is the same, Nebula. You are perfect the way you are." Luna said soothingly as she turned her head to the bat pony. "So I have a question you must answer." She said with a smile.
Nebulla stood at rigid attention and he nodded to her, "Of course, Princess!" He saluted again, still nervous about trying to impress her.
"You can fly, correct?" Luna asked, gesturing towards a small cloud that was high above the castle. She figured if Nebula wasn't going to calm down, then it was high time to get to do so but wasting energy in flying.
In a slow fashion, the princess took off towards the small cloud, turning her head to see fi the bat pony was following. He seemed to be very loyal, like the rest of the others, yet he didn't seem to act weird, well, the only thing weird about him is that he sweated a lot for some reason. Was it because he was too hot? Was it because he was stressed about something else? Luna would soon find out.
Landing on the cloud, the bat pony slowly laid down and he gave a small yawn, relaxing finally upon the cloud layer. He had gotten their first out of habit, so he had a few seconds before she landed. The moment she did land, however, he stood back up at rigid attention, still sweating profusely yet hiding it as best he could.
"Nebula," Luna had a soft, yet serious tone at the same time, along with a serious expression, "What is wrong? You sweat more than a working pig."
Nebula looked down and he whispered, "I-I don't want to fail you, princess! I want to be sure that you are perfectly fine when I'm around!" He took off his armor and flopped down.
Luna smiled a little, "Nebula, you a re fine the way you are, but I have yet another question, why do you sweat like you do? And don't give me the same answer, give me a more... heartfelt answer." She said in a soft tone, the her mane and tail perfectly blending in with the night sky as her fur gleamed in the bright moonlight.
"I-I..." He blinked hard and he let out a long breath, "You're a very beautiful princess, Princess Luna." He sweat harder and he buried his face into the cloud.
