(Okay then, just to clear things up, Celestia's spell was not intended to teleport you to the Lunar Republic headquarter's, but actually to banish you from Equestria alltogether. With you guys out of the magical field, Luna was able to keep a watch on you once you were out, and bring you to the Lunar Republic when Celestia tried to send you away. I'm having too much trouble thinking at the moment, so for now lets assume that Luna has informed you on that and that you have reported your partial success to her. Take this time to build up some sorta backstory or something for yourselves. I'll post again once my brain decides to stop having Derpy manage it.
((So let's say that about three days have passed and after all of us recovered from the incident we reported all our findings to Princess Luna and while she thinks of a new plan of action we are free to battle the threat as we want? Sounds good.)) Brave "I think she was happy to see me. She oughta to be, after all this time and what happened..." He though to himself. But Brave Cape couldn't go past through Luna's poker face. Maybe duty did hardened her the time he was out. Brave "I'd best know what happened here around these parts. Princess Luna wasn't much revealing." He takes no time at all to find Gears. He was already back at his tinkering, propably improving or whatever. Brave "Sorry to interrupt, but..." He looks back at him with a rather strange face. Brave "What happened on here lately? Anything I could take care of? I would love to put my cured wings and horn" He looked back the wonderful job Luna's medics (and herself, if his maddening vision was to be believed.) managed to do. ((It's fine.)) Gears doesn't answer at first, and focuses back on the open panel. Inserting one more tiny cog and sliding it into place, he leaves a needle in to mark his position and shuts the panel. Gears "Did you just get released? I thought you would've taken longer to heal." He grins and leans in closer. [in a mock whisper] "I'm not actually supposed to be out and about. The doctors want to keep me in bed all day, but really, all I need is exercise and some proper food! As for jobs, there isn't much to be done unless you're a strategist, a chef, or like sweeping floors. Unless one of the higher-ups has a job for you, you're free to indulge your hobbies. The injured don't get put back on missions till the doctor says their fit to. Speaking of fit, those 'cured' wings of yours look a little thin." Gears' wings are also thin, like the rest of him. However, his muscle mass and fat layer have made vast improvements in the past three days, mostly due to the care of the Lunar Republic's medics and their spells. He is still older than when he had left for Everfree, but not as old as he had been when he landed back on the floor of the Lunar Republic. A few patches of mane that had fallen out during his rapid ageing are even starting to grow back. One noticeable patch seems to be growing a dark purple. What is left of his fringe is brushed forward, mostly obscuring the red star on his forehead. Gears "If you need something to do, how about we have a flight?"
After Gears's last commentary, Brave Cape just said: Brave "Sincerely, compared to my previous state, I've never felt better in my whole life. I can actually fly and use magic again." Gears Flywheel stopped talking after that, and from his eyes Brave could see he was reflecting for a moment. He then posed his question. Brave "Why, sure. I do wanted to test them in the infinite sky, although I fear Celestia's forces may see us... But it is better than just floating above the ground inside these damp tunnels." He was exiting the room to go fly with Gears, until he remembered something. Brave "Maybe you want to see this." He points to his right wing, showing the skull. "It's a bit hidden by the feathers, but search and you'll see it. The doctors didn't have the slightest idea of what it is exactly, although from an old book I read it could be Cutie Pox. Although I doubt it myself, since the other symptons didn't apply, and it feels different."
Gears shifts his fringe. Gears "Same here. Princess Luna told me that Celestia had tried to banish us, so it could just be a stamp to signal that. However, given that it formed patterns unique to each of us, it might have some higher meaning." He clears away tools and Demon Bunny dutifully bounces up and takes them away to a small toolbox. Gears guides Brave down the Everfree tunnel. Then he stops abruptly. Gears "HORSEFEATHERS!" Brave is startled at this outburst. Gears "Moondancer still has the tapes! And two of my clockworks!" Demon Bunny hops up and jumps back into Gears' mane. He pops his head out and looks at Gears, then down the tunnel. Gears shakes his head. Gears "She wouldn't STILL be at the cottage." He turns to Brave, who is more than slightly confused. "She might've turned them in to someone, but I'll have to find her anyway. Sorry." ((Feel free to follow me or do your own thing.))
Brave Cape grins. Brave "Sorry for? This is definitely something I could take care of. Maybe we'll get some action from whatever you're going to do. Lead on!"
Gears is pleasantly surprised. Gears "Okay, thanks!" He trots down a different hall, moving down into the Burrows. A network of haphazard tunnels with crude hollows cut into the stone and compacted earth, the Burrows housed the entire Republic, in varying degrees of comfort or squalor. Some are painted and furnished, in valiant attempts to brighten up the place; others are dim pits from which hungry eyes peer out of sallow faces. Some are filled with junk and memorabilia; others are Spartan, containing only a lamp and a spot to sleep. Many have no front wall, and ponies converse and greet each other across the hallways. Many are empty. Many have yet to be cleared since the events at Sugarcube Corner. Most have some kind of name carved into a stone at the entrance. Many have more than one name, the only record of the deceased. Gears "I guess our only hope is just ask around and see if anyone knows where she is..."
Brave "So... Moondancer right?" He spoke to Gears, and after a nod, asked everypony that they passed by if they saw a... Brave "What is she again Gears?" Gears "A female pegasus." Brave "Right... What else?" Gears Flywheel then proceeded to describe his latter companion and actually began asking questions. While they were at it, Brave Cape started a conversation: "So... I don't know if you know about it, but Princess Luna actually did not tell me what happened these past times... The big, important events, or the small, recent ones; You mind telling me?" ((This last question, In case I wasn't clear enough in the 1st post after the three days. Though it would be interesting to see Brave's reaction to it. Also, mind describing Moondancer in here? I don't really remember how she was :derpe)
Tekkie rubbed his head with his hoof after princess Luna left "right.. so.. I, guess I should find my quarters?" he muttered to himself quietly as he got up and trotted off to find the quarters. Tekkie hadn't really expected much but what he saw was - to his surprise - comforting to him. The thick walls dark atmosphere it just felt comforting and somewhat friendly to him. Tekkie shook his head and nodded quietly as he passed Gears & Brave. ((Sorry, I haven't posted lately. I have the dumb))
((Moondancer is a unicorn, though i honestly can't blame you for getting it mixed up due to all the ponies in this, Midnight is the pegasus. Moondancer has a light purple coat with an ash gray mane. Her Cutie Mark is a star-shaped balloon. Also, fun fact: Moondancer is actually canon, in the very first episode Twilight blows off an invitation to...something that i forgot, maybe a party, which Moondancer is hosting. That's how i remeber that she's a unicorn actually, since that seems to be the entire inhabitants of Canterlot...which i think is where Twilight used to live before Ponyville.)) Gears describes Moondancer, appending it with: "Roughly my age. Doesn't look it." Gears "Anyway, recent events. Well, the last notable event I can think of was when a recovery team went missing at Sugarcube Corner. The ponies who went to investigate it later got ambushed. That was about the same time I went to investigate the forest, which was what led us to the castle, and my memory is a little fuzzy beyond that adventure." He pauses for a moment. "By the way, how old are you, anyway? If you don't mind me asking."
Brave Cape looked down for a moment. He remembered, just remembered. And then started talking: Brave "I wasn't either a young *colt ((forgot the word for it)), but I wasn't a stallion as well. Since then, my body only grew a bit more, but I was skillful back then as well. I've gone through the darkness, pure and innocent, and I've just recently emerged from it. I do not only mean it literally. Friends and foes died, deeds were done and words were spoken, but it was for naught. I though that there was still some good inside Celestia, and that it was a simple corruption, but it was a change for life. How I was naive..." "... I did learn a lot of things though. The most ironic part of all." He gave it a pause. "I don't really know my age. I'm not sure, but I think Celestia's magic in that now damned place has altered me. I already am a Alicorn. I may be as old as you, as old as Moondancer, as old as Twilight Sparkle for all that I know. But right now, I feel... " Brave Cape inhaled some air, and after a while, sighed. "Young and strong. But my mind feels old... Not as in weak, but... Something else. Mature is not a good word either." The silence prolonged, and it was clear that there was no more space for words in the air for the moment. ((I believe it is time for some Crimson Campaign. Whilst all that happened in the 12 pages ensued, Crimsom was having the newest flavor of icecream: vengeance. Well, vengeance is served cold and sweet, isn't it? I don't know what should happen with us while that... I don't think managing two facts at two different times would be good. Unless nothing of Crimson's place and information reaches us and more posts are dedicated for him than for us, thus time passing more faster for him than us, until we reach the same point in time and all that.))
((Dunno what's meant to happen. I thought you'd just stopped posting.)) Gears takes a moment to process this as they continue to trot down tunnels randomly, glancing at each pony's face along the way.
((Oh shi-,Oh shi-,Oh shi-, I entirely forgot about this over the weekend.)) Ponyville Garrison-Crimson Star (that was your name right?) Eyeing the garrison Crimson realises that finding an opening in their patrols would be rather difficult. The garrison was better described as a fortress, made out of solid stone with no openings other than the front entrance, and no way to see what's happening inside without actually getting in their first. The garrison is shaped similar to an old fashioned castle, though without all the ornamental's one would normally posses. It was quite clearly a keep designed solely for military purposes and nothing else. After a 3 days and nights(or however long it would take to get it up to the time it is at the moment, I haven't been keeping track of that too well. You are correct Gears, Celestia has never lowered the sun since those 18 years, I just have no idea how one would call night in order to keep track of days...This is confusing) Crimson see's a flaw in the defences. The guards change every three hours, without exception. However, during the change of the guards, there was a half a minute period during which a pony could sneak up to the one of the watchtowers attached to the keep. He would have to either knock out the new guards, or hope that they weren't used to looking up for intruders. There was also the chance that there could be a guard inside the watchtower too, but there was no way to verify that without giving away his position. There was just too many variables...if only he had the wings of a pegasus, or the magic of a unicorn, he could fly to the tower before the guards could change, or use magic to get through one of the walls. As it stood, his only hope was to gather some sort of hook and rope, and hope to scale the tower in time...or he could return to the republic and get help, but for all he knew he could be tracked back there. Lunar Republic HQ-Gears Flywheel, Brave Cape After wondering down yet another tunnel, the two find themselves back at the hall for the Lunar Republic. Realizing you've ended up going around in a circle, you go to head back the way you've came and try a different route, but Luna's voice bring you to a halt. "Wait a second you two." Luna comes galloping up to you, actually panting from the effort. "Do you two have any idea what's happened to Moondancer, I haven't gotten any contact from her since you returned...speaking of which, why isn't Midnight with you?" A heavy silence once again falls over the group.
