Sapphire heard Blade on the Radio that a squad was coming over, and that he was coughing, "Blade are you alright over there? if you need healing come and see me right away." She heads down into her Basement to make sure she has lots of supplys and everything was there and Fresh, she heads back upstairs to find the troops had just arrived at the house, "Come in and make yourselves at home Captain's Orders." She smiles looking at them, she looks to see Glowing in the Everfree Forest.
-few minutes after- Blade got out of the Jeep, making his way to the house. His vision was going to hell, he could barely walk, it was like something was draining him from the inside. He made his way to the door, knocking on loudly as he began coughing up more blood. Years of war and it comes to this? Blade banged on the door again, trying to keep himself up. Then, a voice popped in his head, 'They are waiting to kill you, don't trust them.' "Shut up!" Blade said. He banged on the door again.
Sapphire opens the door and see Blade standing outside, "Come on it Blade we can get the Healing started right now." Sapphire's horn glows Silver and the beam fires into Blade healing the wounds inside of him Emotional and Physical, "So Blade how do you feel right now?" Sapphire smiles and sits down on one of couches, "Sit down Blade you are too much of a stubborn Solder relax for a small while." Sapphire smiles warmly at him.
He couldn't help but smirk, "Well, pains still there, but I think you got a good majority of it," He sat down, there were still chest pains, but not as bad, he would keep it to himself, "Your lucky to have a home, most of these soldiers have no homes and have lost their families, so we gave them a place to live, in Bladedge Company." The voices would come back, 'This war will never end, all of those you care for and love will burn in the darkest fires of tarterous.' Blade kept a fake smile, trying to hold back what was going on, "Its been years since I've actually sat without getting shot in the head."
Sapphire smiles, "Well no one can get in or shoot through here , it was an Old enchantment i used on my house unless i allow them in no one can step foot into this house." She goes into the kitchen retrieving some food for them, "I hope you like this food i made it when i got here." She puts down a plate of Sandwiches and picks one up and starts to eat it, "I hope you like it i have not had this for a long time." Sapphire looks through the window and the glowing in the Everfree forest had stopped.
Blade began eating a sandwich, "Well, this is certainly good, what did you..." He looked to Sapphire who was looking out the window, "Whats wrong?" he asked in a rather low tone and serious manner. He wasn't sure what was going on with his body, maybe the years of war have caught up to him? 'They are coming.' The voice said once more.
Sapphire sighs, "well the peace was nice well it lasted... come on Blade there are only a few out there let's take them on." Sapphire smirks rushing out side near the Everfree Forest where some of the Enemy forces have held up, "You ready Blade?" She pulls out her Sword and her Gun Blade, she looks at the enemies and Rushes in to take them down," Face the End of my Swords.".
As the enemy attacked, BladeRunner began shooting at them, although this was not the reason for his name. They dropped like flies as their heads would explode like watermelons, sharpshooters, you gotta love 'em. "Seven, eight, nine," Blade would count out loud, "Eleven, twelve, thirteen." 'That is it, kill them, kill!'
Sapphire starts to cut off there limbs as she tears through there flesh, "You are doing awesome Blade keep it up." She continues cleaving through the Waves of enemys, She readies her Gunblade to fire and Shoots several in the Head and a few in the chest, she then rushes back in to Slaughter the rest of the Waves.
BladeRunner had no more ammo clips, no more ammunition to be in particular. As some of the forces began surrounding him, he threw the rifle to side. He then took out a scythe, "So, gentlemen, who's ready to die?" Two of them charged, he swiftly cuts the head off of the first and the second he diagonally slices in half. They would continue their assault, but would continue to get cut down, "Thirty three, thirty four and five, thirty six!" He would keep counting.
Sapphire jumps back near Blade and launches another strike cutting even more of them up, she jumps up into the air and blasts them with her magic and drops back down they all fall to the ground, a fine powder was all that was left of the enemy, She runs over and stabs an enemy that was behind Blade, "How are things going on your end Blade?"
"Eh, fifty fifty." He said as he cut another two ponies up. Out of nowhere, one of the squadrons from before came rolling in with three tanks, demolishing what was left of the opponents. Blade looked around, "Seesh, and you'd think that a mess like this could get cleaned up."
Sapphire's horn blasts into the Forest killing the rest of the Army in the Everfree forest, "God thoughs ponies are like Cockroaches, Ready to head back inside?" She starts to walk back into the house, she puts her sword's away into her sheaths and heads back into the house and sits in the Living room, "Come on Blade get inside already." the Troops headed back down into the Basement.
Blade put away his scythe as he headed down into the basement, the squad of tanks leaving back to their posts. He wasn't sure what the voice was, but it was gone for now. He went ingot he basement where Beta squadron were waiting for further orders.
Sapphire watches Blade going down into the basement, "Becareful down there Blade." She walks into the Kitchen to get some food after it is ready, she sits down in the living room and starts to eat another Sandwich and watches out of the Window, "Well atleast it looks beautiful outside right?"
Helping the troops with supply check, they made sure everything was in place. "Um, sir?" A private of Beta asked. "What is it soldier?" Blade asked back? "Is it true, that you lead the battle onto the Vecta Capitol in the badlands?" I took Blade a minute, "Yeah, I did. I was the only survivor, I destroyed the capitol." "What happened to the ones who followed you?" Blade sighed as he remembered, "Before we even hit the capitol, they had made an army and defense grid around it. They hid underground, and when we made it to the gates, all hell broke loose." "But, what happened-" "Thats enough Private!" The Sergeant said. "Its fine. They all died but me, I still lived. I snuck into the capitol and went into the control room, then I just destroyed it."
Sapphire closes her house door and the Barrier so that no one can get in the house any more. "Blade is everypony alright down there?" Sapphire calls down to them.
"Yeah, just checking inventory, thats all!" He yelled back as he began walking up the stairs. He noticed that his left arm had a cutie mark... which was rather odd. It might have been a tattoo the men gave him while he was asleep. It was the shape of a crescent moon, oh well! Blade walked to the living room, "Everything alright up here?"
Sapphire looks behind her and sees Blade standing there, "Hello Blade is everything alright down in the Vault?" She sits down on the couch and looks at Blade, "So how are you enjoying you're time in Ponyville Blade?" Sapphire giggles looking out the Window, "I hope my Daughter has not Disturbed you or the Army." She looks for and listens for her Daughter upstairs, "I think she maybe reading right now." Sapphire smiles looking at Blade, "So how was the trip here for you Blade?"
He sighed in relief that someone had FINALLY asked the question, "Tiring as hell," He said as he leaned back on the couch, "Repairing weapons is one thing, but repairing over five Magnetic Acceleration Cannons is another during a war. Boy, I tell ya', it takes balls to do that!" He laughed. Blade looked at the ceiling, "So how has your daughter been lately?"
