Primer Frontus Pramar and High Allied General Cloud Shadow sat in war council with a group of high ranking officers from the area responsible for containing the two UNW Holds in danger of uniting and marching straight onto Solitu, which was basically the last true line of defense before the Divoa Mountains and Capita, and if Capita fell, then the Allies would fall into shambles and be easy pickings for the UNW. "How goes the situation on Goliath?" Cloud Shadow asked a lower general. "According to the last report from General Tulac, they were well dug into the hill with over 10,000 troops and an open supply route. He reported that Goliath could hold indefinitely unless something major happened to change the status quo there." Cloud Shadow nodded, "Good, we cannot afford to loose Goliath, we've already virtually lost all naval capability from the first attacks that took almost all of our ports in a few days. Anything else worthy of noting?" "No sir, nothing beyond the usual on the fronts of each hold." A general responded Frontus nodded, "Good, we just need to contain the UNW and convince them that we will not roll over without giving them one hell of a phyrillic victory. That should be enough to change that deranged Snow's mind against the war, or at least her blind subjects."
Jackpot was one of the first to enter he battlefield, and one of the last to leave. She could not bring the thought of abandoning the site where her entire squad was killed. She closed the eyes on every single on of them, and wished that their deaths never happened. The battle made her stronger mentally, and was ready to take down the ones that killed her. She returned back to a UNW camp and decided to get some rest. While her act's of standing her ground against a large amount of enemies was something admirable, she felt like she failed.
(When i wrote the post, Robin and Quill's character were fighting. I thought that there was a battle going on and proceded from there. I know about the retreat. Please correct me if iam wrong.)
(There was no battle, General Tulac ordered an instant tactical retreat. Besides, even if they attacked, the UNW positions would have easily knocked out the about 500 that made it out of the hill alive)
will rolled out of bed, waking up coughing,"ow, don't wanna do that again...", then checked the time, & said,"oh c***", and ran to his commanding officer,"Reporting for duty!"
Jackpot was busy on the other side of the camp maintaining her rifle. Sometimes, fixing her weapons was a literal lifesaver when her weapon jammed. She needed something to take her mind of the war, just for a little bit. She might be called into action once again soon, but had to make sure her weapon was working first. To test that, she made her way towards the firing range.
