Braeburn had unlocked Dark's shackle, and watched him gallop out, transforming into, well, he didn't see. Dark turned into a hawk, flying up, landing on the train before it departed. He hops down, landing between the cars. He wanted to thank the pony for freeing him, both mentally and physically.
Riposte was sipping his mug of complimentary cider. Other hunters were discussing strategies. A strange pony, named Blaze Soul approached him. Riposte knew of him. He wasn't a hunter himself, but the Hunter's Guild often requested his services. "Hey! Riiiiposte! You looking forward to slaying that Jhen Mohran?! I am! I wonder how well it would burn!" Riposte had a stern look on his face. "Hardly. You didn't see what Jormag could do. If this thing is half as strong as it, we're in trouble."
Dark sits on the railing, watching the scenery go past. He would go inside the carriage when someling went to another carriage.
"It's an ice dragon! I bet I could've melted it!" "It's element was ice, Blaze. It wasn't actually made of ice." "I know that! But I bet my flames could've incinerated it!" Several black embers came out of his horn. They landed on the table, and Riposte yanked his cider back, as to not let it catch flame. The smoke alarm went off, and the attendant rushed into the car with the fire extinguisher, spraying the foam all over the smoldering table. "Sir. I'm going to have to ask you to calm down." Said the attendant. "Awwww. Alright." Said Blaze with a dejected look on his face.
Dark takes this moment to fly in, landing on the seat next to Riposte. He watches the attendant, almost seeming to smirk. He then looked at Riposte, winking.
Riposte noticed the bird. Something about it seemed... Familiar. "Wait..." He leaned in and whispered in it's ear. "What are you doing here, changeling?"
"I wanted to help, and... Thank you for freeing me. I can think for myself, and... Well, I want to join you." The bird whispers.
"Well, I'm glad you had a change of heart, but if the other hunters discover you, they'll want you dead. Could you disguise as one of the attendants or something?"
(Thought I replied to this... Whoops) Dark nods, flying to the restroom. He closes the door after he flies in, changing into a random pony wearing an attendant's uniform.
Riposte quickly used his magic to fabricate a guild license, and pinned it on Dark's uniform. "There's your identity. If anyone asks, show them it. A ding came from the intercom. "Attention passengers. We will be arriving at the Jhen Mohran Relief Camp soon. Ready your hunting equipment, and get ready to fight, if necessary.
