Carmena looked at Black Thunder. "Hm. Black Thunder, right? You know, before she died, Everen told me that you were a lot like her. She liked you." Then she turned to Timestopper. "And you, Timestopper. Everen wants me to tell you that she's sorry."
black thunder walked over to timestopper "if everen died, then who is this?" she asked pointing to carmena "and how would she know? she might just be one of everens stages." she said calmly. she knew everen, she wouldnt just up and die like that
"Everen was my sister. She had too many poisons in her. Timestopper, she said that she was sorry not to have believed in you." She pondered for a moment. "You know how Everen and Lumen were different phases of light?" She closed her eyes, and the ground shifted. Roots grew from the ground under her.

Faux kicked the ground, turning a couple of rocks. She glanced up towards the forest in the oppisite direction from where they came. The trees were still full and Faux itched to check it out. Just beyond those trees was her home. She took a couple of steps forward but stopped. She just sat and stared at the opening to her home.
