Kali sped around a corner. She was having fun riding the bike and forgot what she was doing. She closed her eyes for a second, and when she opened them again, she was a few feet away from the vine-restricted werewolf. Immediately pulling on the breaks on the handles, she was tossed over the handles as the bike skid to a stop and she was tossed into the wolf, leaving both of them in a pile on the ground. "Oooowwwww..."
Julius reached around behind his seat and opened the back door for Richard. "Well hop in! Can't have you late for dinner or you might get seven straight across!"
Richard jumped into the car and strapped his seat belt on as he smirked. He puled out both of his .500 magnums, "Safety first."
"Atta boy." Julius slammed the pedal down and tore off down the street to 234th, skidding to a stop at getting out when seeing the entangled werewolf and Kali. "Well, that's one rowdy poodle you got."
Richard laughed, "He can be a handful lot's of times, I still have to return to the Chinese restaurant." Richard got out of the car and prepared for battle.
Reyna flew into the air, and her hands glowed with natural energy. With a small grunt, she slammed herself into the ground. The road rippled, and around the werewolf, the road puckered, closing around him with tiny strips, forming together like a rose bud.
"Who remembers if we're supposed to kill or catch ze wolf?" Johan asked, setting his head down on a bench and drawing Blackjack. "I can't quite remember, and zis wolf hasn't seemed to have done anyzing yet."
Putting his magnums back in their holsters, Richard wanted more action out of this mission, "You know, I could have stayed home and watched TV and so forth. And Julius, we better ditch the vehicle, 'cause these can be trackable." Richard pulled out a stick of beef jerky and started chewing on it.
Julius sighed and rested his head the open door the car, looking at the werewolf. "So, what we have here is a poor lost puppy with a terrible desiase and we don't know whether to take it the pound or put it out of it's misery? I vote we take it in for now."
Kali pulled out her radio and clicked a switch on it. "I'm senior correspondent Kali the hot, and we're coming to you live, from the site of a werewolf capture by PSRL team 1. The team is currently keeping the werewolf contained in a stone rose. If you have any information on what they should be doing with the creature, please contact the station." She waited a few seconds. "I mean, we have no idea what to do with this thing, headquarters, and we'd like to know." She waited a few more seconds. "Uh, over!" She smiled and flicked the switch off, awaiting a reply from the headquarters.
Richard looked at Julias and leaned against the car, "If they allow us to kill the poodle, then here's what we do. We kill it, skin it and make a fur coat. Then we clean and sell the teeth, and then we sell the meat to a nearby Asian restaurant."
Julius over at Richard with a mixed face between concern and disturbed. "R-Right. I'll be sure your parents don't hear about you said. Then you'd definitely get seven."
Reyna managed a short laugh, as the rose shifted, the werewolf inside fighting to get out. She made her hand into a fist, and twirled a finger around it. As she did, vines leapt from the earth, surrounding the rose, keeping the prison secure.
"Well," she said, shifting a bit. "Do we want to hurt him? HQ hasn't said anything, so maybe we should wait." She considered the idea. "Actually, could you try something for me? I need you to lower the temperature inside of the rose very slowly. If we maintain the right temperature, it could make him drift off to sleep and not die... I think." she said, squirming as the wolf tried to get out. She scowled at the rose, and turned back to Kali. "Unfortunately, I'm not extremely wise when it comes to temperature, but I know animals, and perhaps we could engage a sort of premature, sped-up hibernation. I could feed him nutrients from the earth, and you could mimic a type of winter temperature."
"Negative 270 kelvin. Just barely above freezing. Let's see..." The area around the rose quickly dropped in temperature. "Nappy time, pup-pup." Kali did a little cheer as like she was a video-game npc, and then fell onto her back. "Aaaaand... now I'm bored."
Richard continued to eat his beef jerky, and grabbed out a bottle of wine, "I could wait for a bit, no problem with getting a little drunk."
The rose stopped shifting, and Reyna sighed in relief. She looked at her hands that were red, and dry. She frowned, and waved a hand over them. They moisturized, and she rubbed them together. "Hey, Kali, don't worry about it! Boredom will go away like that!" she said, snapping her fingers. A small spark came from her fingers, and she frowned again. She looked up at Kali, and continued. "Since I am completely rubbish when it comes to temperature, could you maintain the environment around it? I have no idea what I'm doing." she said, rolling her eyes at herself.
