When I first saw it, it was one of the most frightening and awkward experiences of viewing of my life. For most of the season, it's been cupcakes, randomness and dressing up like a deranged clown that's fallen into a costume box and then everything changed. She snaps and retracts into a dream world. It's as though the writers just thought they'd frighten the kids they were originally creating this character for. They get away with it because everything goes back to normal later but you know that it might not take much to turn her back. And then they did the same thing with Twilight....
There's already a thread on this episode but it is old and this thread will probably discuss Pinkie's insanity more than the episode as a whole so nevermind. I thought that it was kind of scary, especially since I read cupcakes the day before. Atleast everything is normal, for now...
