Arc didn't react as she usually did, instead, she simply smiled and accepted it. Her eyes began watering, and Arc tore her eyes away from Tyler. "I'm glad to be safe... I guess... but did you have to hit that poor Soul Eater?" Arc asked, gloomy eyes meeting his.
"I think he was trying to make me feel better, to be honest," Arc said quietly, and kissed him. Fluttershy had brought Hope back, saying that she was the most polite, kind-hearted, and cutest filly she'd ever met. Arc held Hope in her arms, not noticing the whispy, purplish, smoke-like trails coming from her eyes...
"Wha-? Tyler!" Arc said, surprised. Hope stared at him, "Daddy?" Fluttershy stepped back, "W-what's wrong?"
"Fluttershy did something to Hope look at Hopes eyes" Tyler then pointed to the mist coming from Hopes eyes
"What? N-no! I didn't! I swear!" Fluttershy began to cry from the accusation. Arc looked at Tyler in disbelief, "How could you say that!? She's our friend!" She said, hurt. Arc took Hope and Fluttershy inside, and sat on the couch with her. Fluttershy continually sobbed, destroyed from what Tyler said. "It's alright, Fluttershy... nothing's your fault..." The wispy smoke-like trails had disappeared from Hopes eyes, and into Arc's gloomy eyes.
Tyler had realized what he had done "Oh no I-I'm a monster" Tyler started to tear up and he ran away to a small clearing in the woods "Im a monster" Tyler said "I've made Fluttershy cry and now Arc probably hates me"
"Tyler... Fluttershy, can you stay with Hope? I'm sure Tyler didn't mean all that..." Arc said sadly. "Y-yeah... I can do that... " She smiled shyly. Then Arc ran out into the woods after Tyler, the wisps of purplish smoke-like stuff trailing visibly from her eyes.
Arc ran into the forest, quickly getting lost. "Oh no... no no no no... I can't be lost! I just can't... not out in... the dark..." Arc's eyes were pouring tears, and she curled up on a stump, crying softly. "Tyler... I'm sorry..."
Tyler heard crying and went to see who was crying. When he got to the noise he saw Arc crying on the ground in the middle of the pathway "Arc" Tyler said he ran towards Arc and craddled her in his arms "Arc listen the Soul Eater is messing with your mind"
"No... I'm fine, honest..." Arc's eyes still had that mist coming from them, but it was slowly fading. Her pupils were slits after it disappeared, where they had been full and round before. Still, they were dull and glazed over. There was no happiness in them.
"Arc your not in the dark or on a stump your in the middle of a pathway on a sunny morning I forgive you" said Tyler hugging Arc tightly
"Yea it not your not alone im here the Soul Eater is playing a trick on your mind that percieves the place as being dark"
"Somehow the Soul Eater must of gotten inside of you and is making you see things that you are most afraid of" Just then an angry riot starts chasing Arc "GET OUT OF MANEHATTEN YOU UNGRATEFUL MARE" shouts the crowd
"What? N-no! Please! I-I didn't mean to do it! Honest!" Arc cowered on the ground as the crowd rushed her.
Just then the crowd started to form around her and before they had the chance to attack Tyler quickly kissed Arc on the lips and the illusion broke away like broken glass "Arc can you hear me" Tylers voice started to fade away "Arc... Arc can you hear me?" A few hours later Tyler got back to his home with Arc on his back he placed her on his bed and put the covers on her "You've been through so much I feel so sorry for you" Tyler then went downstairs and made dinner.
