"Yes" Tyler said "im sorry but the one question I have is why did the Soul Eater go away when I showed up?" Tyler then had a puzzled look on his face.
"I-I don't know... maybe it was sizing you up... Why won't it take the strong ponies?" She asked softly. Arc was leaning against Tyler, letting her remaining tears fall.
"Its okay" said Tyler craddleing Arc in his arms "but look on the brightside once we get to Zecora then we will be able to stop the Soul Eater"
"Y-yeah... you're right..." She said, "Oh, um... did you still want that dinner-date?" Arc asked, changing the subject.
"Maybe after we deal with the Soul Eater anyway off we go" Tyler said and him and Arclight both went towards the Everfree Forests when they arrived at the entrance Tyler looked over at Arc and said "Remember if you get scared just hold onto my hand I will keep you safe"
"O-okay..." Arc entered the forest with him, and stayed close by his side. After an hour or so, the arrived at an old cottage. They entered, but Zecora was nowhere to be found. "U-um... Z-Zecora?" Suddenly she dropped down, "Yes, my child? What is it? Make it quick, I'm expecting an important visit." Zecora smiled when she saw Tyler, "Tyler, my dear! So good it is to see you here! Is this the mare? The one the Soul Eater wants to strip bare?" (Rhyming like Zecora is hard)
(Lol yea) "Yes Zecora this is the mare" Tyler said "Ahh I see shes very pretty and this gift comes from a far off city, I will give you this but theres a fee I need a few bits maybe three" "Sure Zecora here you go" says Tyler he hands over the bits and Zecora gives him a small box with weird inscriptions "Use this only when time is bare or you will never ever see this mare" says Zecora "Thanks Zecora" says Tyler as him and Arc walk away "okay now that I got this we should be prepared also by the way I learned a cool move that is sure to hurt the Soul Eater so we are set"
Arclight yawned, and had to lean on Tyler periodically to keep going. "Alright..." she said sleepily, "now what?"
"Now first we go back to my house to rest and hopefully we will fight the Soul Eater the morning" said Tyler yawning. They both walked back towards Tylers house and they both went in as soon as they got in Tyler said "Im tired maybe you should sleep in my room just incase the Soul Eater comes back"
Arclight's eyes shot open, "Y-you want me to s-sleep with you?" Arc stared at the ground, a red streak appeared on her face, across her cheeks. "O-okay... if that's alright with you..."
"It is okay besides I dont want anything to happen to you and your best bet would be to sleep with me besides if you slept downstairs or in another room you would most likely be attacked" Tyler said with a smile. He went upstairs to his room and moved over to the side of the bed.
Arc got in her beside him and laid down. "G-goodnight, Tyler..." She leaned over and kissed him goodnight. She moved very close to him, and quickly fell asleep with one of his arms around her.
The last thing Arc saw was Tyler's soundly sleeping form, then everything went dark. When she awoke hours later, she was in a cage, surrounded by several thousand Soul Eater black mists. She, and four other ponies were stuck in there together. "Y-you're awake! W-what's your name?" The yellow mare asked, "I'm Fluttershy, this is Octavia, Lyra, and Carrot Top." Octavia sat down next to her, "Not that introductions matter, we're probably about to be killed anyways..." Arclight stared at the four around her, "I-I'm Arclight... Wait! Tyler? Tyler!? No... no, no, no... this is it, I'm going to die here..." She sat there defeated. No way could he save all of them now... they were done for. It would take the magic of 10 grand arcana masters to open the portal, though each one is random. "Tyler..." Arc whispered, "I'm sorry..."
*morning* "Yawn good mor-" Tylers face then turned to shocked "NO NONONONONO" Tyler was frantic he was looking everywhere for Arclight "HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE I THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE SAFE". Tyler, in defeat, fell down on the ground with tears in his eyes. "I LOVED HER" he screamed at the top of his lungs just then a Soul Eater mist appeared and took Tyler too. When Tyler opened his eyes he was surrounded by Soul Eater clouds when he looked to his left he saw Arclight and some other ponies from the newspaper clippings in his secret room. "ARCLIGHT OH THANK CELESTIA they didn't hurt you did they?" Tyler was then interrupted by a voice "HA HA HA you fools and your silly emotions you are now my prisoners for all eternity but I'm gonna give you a chance and try to hurt me. You are surrounded by 12 clouds 1 of them is me ,the master, if you can find out which is the right one your all free and if not then well... let's just see". Octavia took a swing at the first one hitting the one to her left.. it was a fake, next was lyra she took a swing at the one in front of her and again it was a fake, next was fluttershy she lightly tapped the one behind her again it was a fake, next Tyler and Carrot Top decided to attack at the same time they both hit one that was next to each other and both of them were fakes.
Arclight, too scare to move, took a nasty blow from one of the Soul Eaters. The impact sent her sprawling, but she managed to struggle to her hooves. She was bleeding a bit from the corner of her mouth.
"ARCLIGHT" Tyler screamed with fear he quickly rushed over to aid Arclight "Im so sorry this is all my fault I knew I shouldnt of started to love you I just put you in more danger" just then Tyler started to tear up
"Y-you... love me?" Arclight blushed intensely, and the Soul Eater; the real one; howled in anger. "STOP! DON'T TOUCH HER! YOU'RE NOT WORTHY!" It screamed, lashing out. Suddenly, a crimson blade pierced it straight though, and the Soul Eater vanished. In its place stood another one, though it quickly formed into a young mare.
*sniff* "yea I thought you were pretty the first day I met you and i was too afraid to say it" Tyler then hugged Arc still crying
Arc blushed even more, and she buried her face in his chest. The young Soul Eater mare opened a portal to their world, "You should escape, while you still can..." She said quietly. In a blinding flash of light, the other ponies and the young mare disappeared. "I... I..." Stardust began, "I love you too..."
