(She was talking to the other mares. Sorry, should've clarified) Everypony else was gone, and the portal was closed. Arclight stayed locked in Tyler's arms, not wanting to be released.
"Arc im so sorry I brought you into this its all my fau-" Tyler was interrupted by a weird feeling it was unlike anything he has ever felt just then something happened an ora of light grew around him and Tyler was picked up into the air. Just then his eyes glew. "WHATS GOING ON" Tyler said wworried then all of a sudden a beam of light shot out of him and hit Arclight. A few seconds after the beam hit Arc a giant cloud of black came out of Arc. "NO HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE I WAS SUPPOSED TO WIN" the cloud said "I AM... I AM THE MASTER" (BTW the beam is harmless) Suddenly the box fell from Tyler and landed near Arc and the wweird inscriptions turned to words that said *Only When True Love Is Present Shall The Beast Be Trapped*. Tyler looked down at the box then to Arclight and said "ARCLIGHT THROW ME THE BOX"
Arclight jumped away, and interrupted the beam, "P-please! Stop this! No more... no more fighting..." Arc broke down and cried, and the Soul Eater Master vanished. Then, without warning, Arc began coughing up blood.
"ARC NOOO" Tyler lost all of his power "Arc you dont understand just hand me the box" "NO" said the Soul Eater Master "give me the box"
Arc looked at each of them, and through tear-filled eyes, she then smashed the box. "There! N-now no one can have it!" The Master laughed, and gingerly touched Arc's flank. "N-no... p-please don't..." She begged, cowering from the sinister touch. The Master grabbed her and yanked her down though the floor, leaving Tyler all alone. There was only one thing to do: find the Grand Master, and put an end to all of this. Wherever he is, Arc is too. But... where?
Tyler started to stop crying and started to think *hmm if I can find some way to get down to the Soul Eater Master then I should be able to defeat it* "but first I should grab the shards of the box and repair i-" then something odd happened the box magically formed back together "oh well lucky me that means less time to be busy with other stuff and more time to rescue Arclight". Tyler then noticed a stairwell "Really... a stairwell?" But it was no ordinary stairwell it was about 50 floors "Much better" he said Then he was off he boted down the stairs and about halfway he thought *why am I going down them I should just slide down the railing* And so he did about an hour later he caught up with the Soul Eater Master and Arclight. Arclight was in a special cage howwever it appeared the only way to get her free was to trap the beast. "Arclight over here" he yelled to her
She vanished and the stairs did as well. "BUAHAHAHA! You really think I'd keep her with me? No... she's the ruler of this realm now. It wasn't hard, as the Grand Elders said she was the Prophesied One, but she was touched by an Unclean One, -you. So, I'm going to sacrifice you to her. Queen Arclight will feast on your entrails!" The Master rushed him, twin shadowblades slicing the air.
"No... nonoNONONOOOO!!!!!" he screamed as loud as he could "I WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN SHE DOESNT WANT ANY OF THIS" Tyler dodged the attack and quickly rebelled with a quick kick to the jaw "Ha Ha Ha you fool you cannot stop me I am more powerful than you" the Soul Eater Master said (lets just call him S.E.M.) Just then Tyler remembered something he still had the box from earlier. He pulled out the box and quickly opened it to reveal that a beam of light grabbed S.E.M. "YOU FOOL YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!" S.E.M. said "Oh yea I do if im correct by pulling you in it will reverse time to before you took Arc AND before she smashed the box so im gonna say that we are going back to our previous fight" Just then time started to reverse it went like this: Tyler is sliding back up the railing, then Arc is being pushed up through the floor, then Tyler is floating back up. "ARCLIGHT THROW ME THE BOX" screamed Tyler just then all the things that just happened to Tyler and Arc flowed back to their minds and they now remembered everything that had just happened. However after they had remembered everything something weird happened.
Something went wrong. The SEM was ripped to shreds, and time itself, bent and warped around them. Arc clung to Tyler's muscular body, and hid her face. Then everything went quiet. Arclight's eyes fluttered open. She was slumped against Tyler in a meadow outside of Ponyville. "Tyler?" She whispered, weak from the time-travel. She laid her head on his chest, and waited for a response.
"Wh-what happened...?" Arc moved closer to him, clinging to him for safety and comfort. It was nighttime, and new constellations had appeared across the sky.
They walked into town together, and Tyler was going to take her home when he saw the smoldering ashes of the house. "M-my... house..." Arc looked like she was going to do something she'd regret, though she didn't. She remained silent, her face planted in Tyler's shoulder, crying.
"Its okay Arc it will be okay I will get some of my friends together and we will help you rebuild your house but for now until your house is repiared you can stay at my house... does that sound good?" he said smiling at Arc
"I don't want it repaired... I want it to stay like this..." Arc turned towards him, "If you don't mind, could I be your roommate?" Arclight nuzzled his cheek softly. "Um... like permanently?"
"Sure you can now that the Soul Eater Master is gone we can finally live in peace" Tyler said with a reassuring smile
Her eyes lit up brightly, "Th-thank you Tyler..." She whispered as they headed back to his house. She kissed him, and leaned her head on his shoulder. (Comfortably, since she's a smaller mare, about 9 inches shorter than average)
They entered, and the police were there, "There she is! Get her!" They yelled, and surrounded Arc. "What? What's going on, Tyler? ... Tyler?" Tyler was gone, and every officer had a hoof-pistol trained on her, aiming to kill her if she made a move.
