"aww whos a cutie.. you are" he said "but it really confuses me how shes an alicorn" Tyler handed Hope back to Arc and said "you wanna see my latest and greatest creation? its pretty cool"
"I don't mind it... she's special..." Arc said quietly. She nuzzled Hope's nose with her own, causing her to giggle, "Sure, what is it?"
"ok follow me" Tyler led Arc to his old investigation room which is now his idea room. Tyler pulls out a blueprint and shows Arc "okay I have been working on this idea for quite a bit its basically a portal that will allow anypony to go to a alternate universe of their choosing and since there are no limits anypony can go ANYWHERE the bad news is that im missing one part however the good news is that its coming tommorrow in the mail"
"thanks and your pretty" said Tyler. He then went upstairs with Arc and went to sleep with her next to him and Hope in her crib "goodnight" Tyler said just before passing out. Tyler awoke to the sound of knocking at his front door. Tyler got up and went to see who it was. When Tyler opened up the door he saw it was the local mailpony Derpy. "heres your package Tyler" she said "thanks alot Derpy" Tyler signed for the package and closed the door. Tyler placed the package on the coffee table in the living room and then went over to to the kitchen and made breakfeast.Tyler put the food down on the kitchen table and the aroma of the morning meal was so strong the smell extended up to the bedroom where Arc was still sleeping.
"Hm? Oh my... th-that smells just like Mama's cooking." Arc got up and, before heading downstairs, checked on Hope. She was sound asleep, so Arc picked her up carefully. "Momma? I love momma..." She said, causing Arc to smile brightly. "I love you too, sweetie." Then she took her downstairs, "Tyler? My goodness, that smells delicious! I didn't know you could cook!"
"well when you've lived for about 1200 years you learn a few more things and besides I thought I would treat you and Hope to something special seeing as though you two are special to me" Tyler then ate breakfeast with Arc and Hope while trying to make small talk. "So did you sleep well Arc?"
"Yes, especially with you next to me." Arc replied, relishing every second of the delicious meal. "Do you like the breakfast Daddy made?" Arc asked Hope. "Yup!" She squealed.
When Tyler was done eating he got up and said "I need to get working on the portal the part that I needed arrived". Tyler went over to the idea room and started to put the last part into place. A while later when Tyler got the last part into place he turned on the portal and it worked "WOO HOO IT WORKED" Tyler said cheerfully
Arc watched him, smiling. Hope was playing with a wrench on the floor, practicing levitating and moving it with magic. "Tyler... you're amazing..." She said, kissing him.
"Thanks honey" said Tyler "and as a reward for my excellent achievement we shall go to a world that YOU want to go to"
Arc looked at him, shocked, "Um... I don't know where... if it's alright, c-could we go to Manehattan if I never left? I just want to know what would've happened.
"Sure just let me enter the Transdimensional Portal Code and we should be off" Tyler then enters the code 21-35-79-45-00 on his console next to the portal and then a picture pops up on the portal that appears to be Manehatten "Okay we should be okay now we can go"
"Alright, but I'm calling Fluttershy first, to babysit." A few moments later, Fluttershy arrived and took Hope back to her cottage. "Y-you ready, Tyler?"
They arrived in downtown Manehattan moments later, in the mare's restroom, in the same stall. They walked out into the street, and were immediately shot at. They ran to the old hospital, but it was only a pile of ash. There was a cemetery behind the ruins and when the walked in, both Arc and Tyler spotted something awful. It was a crude tombstone, and it read: R.I.P Arclight Blaze (The dates were scratched out) Death by heartbreak "T-Tyler... I want to go home... please..."
'Sure besides I dont want to see you sad" They then went to the portal and hopped back through it and they landed back in their universe
"Its okay you dont have to cause im erasing those portal codes if anything we could go to a universe where everyone loves you" Tyler said trying to calm down Arc
