"I'm with you Note Sheet. That was your name right?" Dark Shine noticed he was going off topic. "Anyway! These Ponies went to the effort to make us, the least we can do is save them! Lets do this and make the 'Original' Us proud!" Dark Shine felt confident but did'nt know what everypony else felt.
As the other ponies shouted out their agreement, Haze sat there, still unsure what to think. Everything seemed... weird. These ponies shouldn't really even exist. All Ponyity was at risk though, and they needed them... Everypony put a lot of work into them.... It would be difficult. Haze was unsure how they'd eve go about it all... She wasn't even sure what they were all being asked to do exactly. How would they find out the information these desperate ponies seek? What would they have to go through to achieve this? And what happens when it's done, would they just be put back in storage again, for another desperate plea for help in the future? They're just using us! ... But they need us... Too many thoughts were going through Hazes head, and she didn't know what to make of it all. She slid down on her chair, slouching down lower. Her head was starting to ache. "So... How do we start? What do we do?"
Cherry snapped out of her reverie at Note Sheet's comment. He, Zephyr, and Shield were right: They were created for a greater purpose. They were made so they could be heroes, to do what their Original selves couldn't. They had a responsibility... Cherry heard the sinister voice in her head again. But what'll happen when they don't need us anymore? She tried to shut out the voice and remain composed. Then one of the clones, Haze, asked what they should do. "So... How do we start? What do we do?" Cherry actually knew the answer to that one: "The Princess said that this student of hers, Twilight...uh...Sprinkle, would be able to tell us what to do next."
"Yes, if we're going to get anything done, she's the one we need to talk to." Shield looked back at the pony that was waiting to take them to Ponyville. "Shall we go? We can...er...get to know each other on the way there..."
"Sure. I suppose there is no point in leaving our destiny waiting is there?" Dark Shine was repliying to Shining Shields question.
Edge was behind the group yet again the sudden noises had scared him and sent him back of the group he listened to the conversations intensly he knew what each were saying. They were going to a place called Ponyville to meet this Twilight he stood up again and moved a inch closer to the group and stood there keeping his ears out for any other conversations. For some reason he couldn't stop listing he loved to listen for other ponies he made a small grin and went back into his normal state.
Cherry nodded in agreement with Shield. "Yeah. Maybe we can find out things about ourselves while we're learning about each other." She smiled, uncertainly.
"Then, I guess... lets just do it. Get it over and done with. The sooner we do it, the sooner we find out our futures, whether we'll be free at the end." Haze wasn't sure whether this was really a good idea. Nonetheless, she decided to go with it. It was't like there was much choice in the matter, and she'd rather not cause trouble. She stood up, and started towards the door. "So... Anyone coming?"
The scientist suddenly spoke up. "Okay then, you look like you're ready to go. Follow me, please. I'll bring you to Ponyville." An other pony entered the room and whispered something into the scientist's ear. "Mmh... Okay... Too bad. Listen here, ponies. I wanted to bring you to Ponyville now, but it seems the train has trouble getting here. We will recieve a message as soon as it's here. I'm afraid you'll have to wait until then... If anypony is hungry, there are some snacks in the room nearby. Help yourself." Note Sheet indeed felt some kind of emptiness inside his belly, and so he took a look at the snacks. OT: Sorry that I keep you waiting, but there is somepony who wants to join us. I'll wait for him for six more hours, otherwise he'll catch up later. By the way, please send me PMs with suggestions for your respective cutie marks. I want to give you the chance to get it^^
Grumbling, Shield wandered over to the table full of snacks. He was a bit peckish, but his hunger for knowledge was insatiable. As he munched on an apple, he wondered whether one of the scientists would consider teaching him something, but quickly discarded the idea as he noticed that the scientists were working around one of the closed capsules. Perhaps another would join their ranks soon?
"Naww..." Haze sighed. She'd wanted to just get out of this terrible building as soon as possible. She didn't like it in here, with the loud machinery and the ponies all crouded in. It was so packed full, and she was feeling less and less energetic by the second. She was getting tired. Really tired. She wished she could just have some fresh air, get some space... ".. I guess I could grab a cookie or two though... "
"Snacks eh? I'll just grab a nibble I suppose. Then again I dont want to over eat so I cant help as much..." Dark Shine seemed to be thinking about how much to eat. "I suppose I could eat a little..." Dark Shine picked up a daisy sandwitch, a cookie and a drink before going to find a place to sit down.
Haze picked up a chocolate chip cookie, and popped it in her mouth. She could taste the milky chocolate chips as they melted on her tongue, and could taste some tangy ginger in there too, which was clearly used for the base. "Mmm... These cookies are wonderful! Try these cookies guys!"
Cherry followed everypony else into the snack area. As she looked around at the selection of various fruits, vegetables, pastries, and candies, it suddenly occurred to her that she had no idea what kinds of foods she liked. She was about to turn to leave when she suddenly picked up the scent of something sweet. She followed her nose to the source of the smell, and found herself in front of a bowl of small, red fruits. The label posted above the bowl read simply: "Cherries" "Hey!" Cherry exclaimed. "That's just like my name!" She plucked a couple of the cherries by their stems and tossed them into her mouth. They were like nothing she had ever tasted before (Duh..)! She found to her delight that she really enjoyed the taste. She then found herself unconsciously twirling her tongue around the stem, maneuvering it this way and that until she poked the end out and examined it. It appeared that she had tied a small knot in the stem. She giggled at her accomplishment.
Shield blinked in surprise when he saw what Cherry had done. "Wow, that's one dexterous tongue you have there." He took a few more apples and a cookie, and, after looking back at the scientists one more time, went over to join the other ponies where they were eating.
"Thanks!" Cherry quipped. "I didn't even know I could do that." It won't be very useful... Cherry frowned again. Then she took a moment to grab a small bowlful of cherries and took a seat near the rest of her "friends."
"Hmmm.... Should I grab an Apple.... Or should I meditate..." Dark Shine looked around to see what Everypony else was doing. "I'll just sit here... wait with my... friends."
A pink pony sat next to Haze, with a frown on her face. Haze looked at her for a few seconds, as she stared off into space... Or rather at the center of the table. A few minutes went by without them saying a word. Haze didn't really know what to say, so she just sat there... A little later, she turned to the pink pony. If they're my friends, I might as well try to make an effort here... "Erm... Here." She handed a cookie to her.
"Mmm... These cookies are wonderful! Try these cookies guys!" Note Sheet had had trouble deciding what to eat, as he absolutely didn't know anything about the things here, but when Haze said the cookies were good, maybe he should start with these? He took one of the cookies and chewed on it. It tasted... good. Very good... "You're right, Haze, these really are wonderful!". he mumbled and took another one. It still tasted wonderful... He closed his eyes and enjoyed the taste on his tongue, but somewhen he felt a dry feeling there. The word 'thirsty' popped out in his mind, and somehow he knew that he neede to drink something. His eyes spied a can that was filled with an orange liquid. Instinctively he walked there and tried to reach it, but it slipped out of his forehooves and fell down onto the table nearby, spilling all of the liquid over the pink pony that was sitting there. Note Sheet gasped for air and tried to say someting. "Oh my... I... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..."
Dark Shine looked over at the now wet Pink Pony. He did'nt know what to do. Laugh? Or go up and help at risk of being odd one out? So he decided to stay put, straight face and if necessary would go find something to help dry off the wet pony.
