OOC: I'm still here. Dark Shine is not really one to intervene. More follows and does what he has to do.
Note Sheet waited until everypony was there again, then he tried to speak up: "Okay, everypony, it seems like we'll have to walk the rest of the way. The train can't go on from here... So please follow me..." He noticed that not every pony was listening to him, but what was he supposed to do? Speak louder? Call every single pony? OT: Sorry I haven't posted for so long... I would like everyone to send me a message if he/she still wants to play. Everyone who does not respond until Wednesday, May 23, will be ignored further on. (And the respective character might be removed from our group...) This RP isn't dead yet!
Silver ran into the rest of the ponies as they were coming out of the Engine room. "Are we getting out of the train? Is everypony ready?" he asked everypony in general.
"I'm ready," Cherry replied. She trotted up closer to Note Sheet, who she saw as the leader of this "party". Party... Why did that word sound so familiar to her?
Haze grabbed some Victorian sponge cake, grabbed some cloth and placed the cake and a last cookie inside, wrapping it up and carrying it on her back out the train. She jumped off the to the side of the crossed lines, landing on green, soft ground. It felt all soft, squidgy and weird, but she was okay with it. She clopped her hooves a little against the soft ground, finding it rather nice, then waited out side for the others, whilst nibbling at her cake. "Ready"
"All right, let's go!" said Shield, feeling a lot less confident than he sounded. He came out of the train first, and immediately noticed that they seemed to be entirely surrounded by walls. What...where are we? Inside one of those big towering things? I think they're called mountains...
Dark Shine looked at his surroundings. Then back to the sky. Odd... He couldn't see the sky... He decided to head a bit ahead of Shield to see if he could find the way. It seemed so dark but so natural at the same time...
"When I looked out the window earlier, there was a brown wall to the right, and I could see a little village down below, on the left. Are we going to go there? If so, we should head back a little, and try to work our way down the cliff. We're quite high, so going that way'll probably be just as safe." ((Edit; Sorry, my N key... ))
"Yeah, I think that was Ponyville." Silver held up the map and turned it several ways, obviously having no idea how to read it. "That sounds like a good idea; if you saw it back there, then we should be able to see it again if we go back, right? Come on, everypony, let's go!" Suddenly, struck by impulse, Silver willed the map to float up from the stone floor where he had been looking at it. It did so promptly, with a glow enveloping both his horn and the map, similar to what had happened in the train car. He smiled, elated, and started walking, still 'carrying' the map.
The grey parts here were extremely hard and it hurt a little walking on. The green parts were much softer ad more pleasant to lay hoof on. Nonetheless, onwards the group went. Up ahead, Haze saw a little light that told her that was the gap in the tunnel where she'd seen the little village. "We're almost there!" Haze shouted to the group. Now, how were they to get down the cliff?
They finally emerged from the tunnel they were in, and sunlight poured over them. The sky looked beautiful, with puffy white clouds just hanging there. Silver noticed little of this as he concentrated on Ponyville, and tracing a path down the mountain that they could safely travel. "Okay, guys, we can go this way," he said after a moment's thought. He set off in the direction he had pointed to, which was fairly clear of rocks and boulders. It looked like it might be an actual path, that just hadn't been taken very good care of.
Cherry Berry looked out over the side of the cliff at the town below. "Wow," she said, "It's so tiny. How are we supposed to fit in there?" Nonetheless, she followed Silver Shield and the others.
Dark Shine began to flap his wings without noticing. He looked down to see his new friends below him. "Wai-WHAT!? Help! Whats going on?!"
Cherry raised her head toward Darkshine, then screamed in terror. "GREAT GOOGLY-MOOGLY! SOMETHING'S GOT DARK SHINE!!
Note Sheet had followed the other ponies after they had left the train. Their way had lead them through a dark cave, and now they were standing at the edge of a cliff. The town they were able to see from there had to be their target, but it still was so far away... Note Sheet looked up into the blue sky. Nothing, really, nothing seemed to be wrong on this wonderful day. It might be a day like many others, but... No. Don't confuse yourself, Note Sheet. Suddenly he saw an extremely dark cloud whiping away the white ones that had ornamented the sky before. Many more dark clouds followed the first one, and suddenly Note Sheet was hit by something. It was something small, something soft... There, once again. A drop of water ran down his cheek, and one drop from the sky followed the next. They became faster and faster, and after a few moments Airy's coat was soaking wet. "Oh, great. If this water keeps falling, we'll have to swim to Ponyville!", he shouted over the continuously sweeping rain and started to laugh. it felt... wonderful, he just had become more cheerful. But his cheer quickly was destroyed by an extremely loud rumbling that was accompanied by a shaking in the ground. Note Sheet hardly was able to keep his balance, not because the ground was shaking so much but because he was... scared. And not without any reason. First he heared an other rumbling becoming louder and louder. Second he saw a few rocks rolling down a mountain. Third he saw a giant rock slide following them. And its way lead just to... Them. Note Sheet tried to say something, but all that escaped his mouth was a treeified scream. They could run neither left nor right to evade the colossus of rolling rocks, and even though he hadn't seen anything like this before, he knew that they would never survive that thing... OT: We're moving on^^ You're allowed to finish talking and then panic. Shining Shield will save us (except Facade and Silver Edge, whose players [DoragonEichi and Nthitho1] left the RP); legionbrony knows what to do^^
Shield was walking along when water began to fall from the sky. He rather liked it; it was calming, tranquil, cool and refreshing. Then the rocks came. First there were just a few little ones, but then the very ground beneath him started shaking, and when he looked around to see what was causing it, he saw a giant bunch of rocks headed for him. Gulp. Silver's mind freaked out, but he remained fairly calm on the outside. After about 10 seconds of incoherent thought, he noticed the map still floating beside him. Wait a minute... Maybe he could stop these rocks with his magic? He cleared his mind, which was significantly more difficult than it had been in the train car. Then, he pointed his horn at the rockslide. Closing his eyes, he imagined that there was a force, like a giant pair of hooves, in front of him and the rest of the ponies. He suddenly felt a tingling at the base of his horn, and opened his eyes in surprise to see: An enormous silver barrier stood in front of him. The rocks slammed into it, but it was curved, so they psrted around it and continued on down the mountain. He felt as though every blow the rocks struck against the shield, however, was mirrored by a smaller blow against his skull. After what felt like an eternity, the rocks stopped coming. He kept the shield up for a few more seconds, then released it and sank to the ground, too exhausted to even think about checking to make sure everypony else was all right.
Dark Shien came to the grand, with a thud as the rocks tumbled. A small one clipped his wing but her made it alive in one piece all thanks to Sheild. "*Gasp* Sheild *Pant* That was *Gasp**Pant**cough* Amazing! *Gasp*" He shook slightly. "We should rest after finding the others..."
Haze was amazed by what she had just seen Darkshine do with his wings- Was that possibly their meaning? "How'd you... I want to do that!" Haze flapped her wings wildly, trying to figure out her to make herself float. She began to levitate slightly, before being thrown off-balance She tried to maintain balance, but with little success. Out of control, she bumped into rocks and cliff walls, trying to find the ground beneath her feet again. Still no more than 20cm off the ground, she bumped into a rock, bouncing off and off the path on the side of the cliff completely. She floated in mid-air, now the closest ground below about 50 metres downwards- That's a long fall. She managed to maintain balance, and floated there for a few seconds, too scared to move, in case she lost balance and plummeted to the ground. What Do!?
