Arcane woke up and started to gather up dust. He drew what he supposed to the right symbol then activated it. It backfired and sent a small fireball bouncing everywhere. It hit Arcane in head causing it to throb again. He curled up on the floor cringing in pain.
Blackheart headed over to one of the infirmarys, checking on the wounded and seeing which one will be put it body bags. As he was looking throught the rowes of wounded soilders he noticed one that looked out of place. Before he walked over to him he decided to study him, "back right leg broken" Blackheart fought to himself. He walked over to the side of his bed and stared at him. Blackheart then started to walk to the end of his bed but not taking his eyes off him, he picked up the clipboard and read his diagnosis. "Officer Quillmane" he said out loud "Broken leg" he said chuckling like it was a joke, he then turned to look at Quillmane and smiled "last I remembered you where a Unicorn." (By the way he is saying that as a bluff)
((Ah, I just love to be forgotten. It does have its uses.)) Brave "Once again... Onward to the rescue." The unicorn panted when he finally reached the fortress, cloaked and covered by more spells than a pony could count on his hooves. Brave "No Zephyr this time though... Counselor my flank. I may be the Ancient Element of Intelligence, but I'm still a fighter. Next time, I'll teach them all how to do some good." He saw a breach in the security, and teleported through. Even though about three spells muffed the sound it was hearable still. But as suspicious as the Police may be, it was so swift that it seemed like a rabbit walking out of its hole. Brave "And once again, I'm the only alicorndamn pony that can actually escape." He waited for a guard to pass through the door of the side of the fortress, and he was quickly put it down and teletransported about 500 meters away from there. Alongside with some other partners. In the bottom of a lake. Brave "What was the plan again? Bah, if anything I'll improvise... At least being an element has its pros. I can use more magic than even a magic-oriented unicorn would. But pony..." He panted again. "I'm overextending. The cons though... Have your head hunt by a great part of Equestria isn't really good at all. They'd better reward me next time. And be more careful! Geez." Didn't take long, and through some meddling he was at a more active part of the headquarters, and quite an innofensive one. Training, Gym, Library, Bedrooms, Infirmary... It was really easy to blend in. And how he felt better by dispelling all those cover spells. But now, there was no turnback. Except he managed to cast all of those again in the bathroom. Or a duct. Brave "What was the plan again? Ah yes, Facade." He did quite a good job next time, and maybe he'll do it again. Although... After they discover the source of the problem, they'll quickly put an end to it. Freeing them, hiding them inside the fortress, having Facade do his magic and them escaping would be a more safe option. And unexpectable. Perfect. Brave "But... Where in the hell are they? I wonder..." His horn quickly flared for an instant, and his vision changed. His aura spell was active once again. Brave "My eyes! So many.... So many ponies." Too many to be counted. Too many... How many ponies did they have in here? Thousands? All commited to Tremalion? How come he convinced almost all of Equestria to his side anyway? Brave Cape could bet his horn half of them had their minds as blank as zombies. Which they propably were, anyway. He quickly diminished the glow effect of the aura to an acceptable level of pain. However, he could not see them. So far he only recognized Facade. He was really close. But that was not important right now. He could take care of himself with that gift of his, that is, until somepony discovers. Great, the clock is turning even faster now. But the others... Slowly, he rised the intensity of the auras. His eyes, even his 3rd started to ache, but he persisted. Finally, he saw four points: three instantly recognized, and one familiar; appear... Below him. After he took note of their locations, he desactivated the spell. Brave "They're that entreched? How come... Did... Tremalion? I wonder... I wonder if by using all this energy, I'll have any left to complete the escape. But this is no time to wonder..." Mumbling, he found the first staircase, and began his long descent to find his friends. ((And yes, for god's sake, LIMIT YOUR POSTS! I still think that 5 is too much though. Couldn't be 3 or 2? Once more, do as I and Zephyr does: make long, meaningful and complex posts with a plethora of actions and etc. I explained this deal before.))
Arcane's head pain had finally stopped and now he was mad. He gathered up more dust from wherever he could get it and piled it up. Even after a while he barely had enough to cover his hoof. Then he remembered! He had fallen on the ground on multiple occasions. He started to scratch his belly to get as much dirt and/or dandruff as possible. Even though doing that tripled the amounr he had originally it was still to small to draw a weak rune in. As his head got better he had another idea, but he had to hope that they would get fed soon. Then his weak rune just might get an upgrade, but until then he continued to collect dust and scratch dirt from his belly hoping he could still get enough to try something...Anything that could make him forget about the cell he was in.
(Alright, 2-4 posts per day, just like with LOCP.) It was late at night and almost everypony was sleeping, but Snow's ghostly self paced in her cell. She looked at the cell window for the millionth time and then sighed, "I hope this works." she muttered to herself. She ran at the window, thinking of her ghostly propeties, and jumped at it. She had tried this hundreds of times, but it never worked, but this time it did. She found herself outside of the cell, "Alright Snow, still no time for celebration, you still have friends to rescue." she said to herself. She then dived into Dark's cell and walked up next to her sleeping form, "Sorry Dark." she whispered into her ear before entering her body. Snow Light kicked the door with all her might, knocking it off and it slammed into Firebreeze's door, waking him. She then ripped his door off its hinges, "Hey, your getting released early." and then she opened Edge's cell. Edge looked pretty beat up, but all it took was a simple spell to fix him for the most part. She got his bindings off and then went to the other cells. "Damn it, their empty!" She yelled, "They must already be on the way to the block! Well, that would explain the lack of guards." (If Snow Light seems a little overpowerful, remember, two powerful ponies, Snow Mark and Dark Light, are combined to make her.) She led the two up the stairs and ran into Brave. He looked a little shocked at Snow Light's apperence, knowing that it took both Snow and Dark to make her, but followed them up the stairs. When they surfaced, their luck had run out, about 50 Secret Police guards and the Commander herself were there. Snow Light grimaced and then flipped a 180 degrees and blew a hole in the wall to the outside. They then saw Snow leave Dark's body, but this time, she was solid. "Go! Don't worry, it's me they want the most, but I will make sure that they can't follow you!" they seemed rulenctant to leave. "What arer you waiting for, GO! I can delay them!" And Snow turned to face the Commander as her friends ran out the hole. "Oh how heroic." The Commander said sarcastically, "But don't worry, we will have them soon enough after your finished off." and the battle between the two began.
Arcane heard a lot of commotion going on and some gaurds run by. He had an idea. "Hey guard!" He yelled. He hesitated and came to the cell. Arcane reached out and bit off a clump of his hair. He yelled then screamed "Ill kill you later I have more important stuff to deal with!" Then he spat at Arcane. Even better. He combined everything, crushed it all into a fine powder then combined the saliva and soon he had a little ball of formable goo. Then he started to draw his rune.
Snow dodged yet another deadly beam of the Commander's magic. She launched a ball of magic, but she easily destroyed it, the battle had already dragged on for several minutes and neither of them were able to get the upperhand. Snow charged the Commander and bucked her right in the face, knocking off her helmet. They stared at each other, two twin ponies of the same power. the Commander glared, "That, was a mistake." and suddenly Snow found herself flung against the wall by a concussion spell. As she tried to get up, the Commander charged her and began to unleash her fury upon Snow with her hooves, kicking and punching and flinging Snow all over the place. Snow finally managed to blast the Commander off of her, and released a massive beam at her. The Commander fired her own, and the two magical beams collided in midair, each pushing the other back and forth. 'Damn, does her strength ever run out', Snow thought. Dark lead the small group away from the headquarters, they didn't stop running until they arrived at the summit of a tall hill overlooking the headquarters. Dark looked at the white domed building hoping beyond hope that Snow would get out alright.
Arcane heard lots of commotion now. When he finished the rune he made a quick defense rune out of the extra material. He heard his cell door open. Standin there was the guard who had spat at him. "while everyone is distracted ill say you got caught trying to sneak out and I had to put you down." He said. Arcane then smirked. He lobbed the defense rune at him and it engulfed his face. The guard thrashed around then fell to the floor. I then unwrapped from th guards face and disintegrated. Arcane checked his pulse and found out he was only unconscious. Arcane peeked his head out the cell door and saw a lot going on. He used the guards horn to break the bonds on his wings then closed the cell door. Arcane got ready to cast the new rune he made.
Dark nodded, "Snow told us to run, so we did. And besides, I would be able to feel if anything goes wrong, so we can hurry down if I do." Dark turned her attention back to the white domed building just in time to see it explode in a white explosion. Snow had tryed hard to send back the Commander's magic, but as they were of equal strength, it was impossible. She finally stopped her spell, and right before The Commander's spell hit her, she cast a time stop spell. She went over to the Commander's knocked off helmet and spoke to it. Afterward, she placed it to where it would land in Dark's area. She then walked in front of the beam, and as she played time again, she prepared to bring in its magic. Time slowly sped up until it played again, Snow absorbed the magic of the beam, drawing it in. She soon had enough strength to release her essence self. Her body started glowing bright white and grew wings, and she floated up. She began to glow brighter and brighter, and and streams of bright white light shot out from her horn. A phocecy she had heard told to Tremalion a long time ago, After first success, your empire shall fail. Once the Light dies in self-sacrifice, your end shall start to draw near. As the Ancients are released, your power shall fail, and your world will crumble. As the room started shaking from the sheer power, that one line went through her head, Once the Light dies in self-sacrifice, your end shall start to draw near. In her mind her last thought was that of all her memories with her friends, and then her very essence was torn apart by the sheer power as the room exploded. The helmet landed right in front of Dark, it was beat-up and dented, but it began playing a video. It showed Snow, and she started talking, "Dark, if you are seeing this, I am no longer on this world. But do not think I have died in vain if the Police make a come back, for it was told that once the Light has died in self-sacrifice, Tremalion's end shall be near. I have realized that it was talking about the Element of Light, aka me. With my death, the Element is released, and won't be seen again for a long time." a tear rolled down Snow's cheek, and one soon followed on Dark's. "Dark, whatever you do, never give up, never give them a moment's rest. Last time, Tremalion's end started when the previous Element of Light died saving the other Elements from Celestia's forces. Do not mourn my death for long, for it will just slow you down. If everypony else is there, tell them, tell them, tell them I'm sorry. Tell them that our time togather was the happiest time of my life, dispite all that had happened. And Dark, I will always be with you, heart, mind, and soul." Snow then left the picture, and the helmet suddenly was picked up and moved. The rest of the video showed Snow's essence come out and self-destruct, and then after a short period of static, showed the helmet's fall to the ground, where the video ended. Dark's eyes were now gushing with tears, her best friend, a part of her, literally just died right in front of her. Snow's last words rang in her ears, I will always be with you, heart, mind, and soul.
Firebreeze couldn't believe what he had just saw and heard. He tried to hold back his sadness, but he failed. He stopped flapping his wings and fell to the ground, "She's... gone..." He silently said to himself. He'd never seen a friend die before, and it hurt, bad.
The Commander woke, beaten and bruised, and it felt like almost every bone in her body had been broken. She watched Tremalion walk out from the shadows, "You didn't think I would just let you die, do you? Although your element is gone now, you are still of use to me." and suddenly the Commander felt herself get knocked out. (You didn't think I would let you guys off that easy, did you?!)
(sorry was a bit busy had something I was going to do so this happened before the explosion.) Arcane activated the rune and it started to glow brightly. Suddenly the whole place started to shake violently. Arcane thought "oh god what did I do!" Suddenly it flashed even brighter, blinding Arcane. When he opened his eyes he was standing on top of the rubble that was once his cell and the building. "Did I do that? Or did I teleport out of the rubble and back on?" Arcane thought. He was looking around in a bit of shock of what happened until he saw some other ponies in the distance. He was pretty sure one of them was firebreeze flying among them. He started to trot that way feeling something on his head but ignoring it.
"So what now?" Fire asked as he began to hover again, holding back tears, which he was much more successful with. "Snow didn't exactly explain how to end Tremalion's rule..."
Dark wiped the tears from her eyes, "I don't know, but last time Tremalion was defeated after the death of every Ancient Element, but we can't afford to have ourselves killed. We need to find a way to get the Elemental part of us out, without killing ourselves. In the meantime, I say we take advantage of the Secret Police's current weakness and begin training anew." Dark told them. But she soon was crying again, she just couldn't help it, "Come on, let's go see if we can find her body." she said sniffling, and they began walking down to the ruins of the Sercret Police headquarters.
Arcane saw them starting to move towards the head quarters. He decided to get to them faster by flying. Arcane focused hard on getting to them and suddenly there was a flash of light from his forehead. Suddenly he was about fifteen feet behind them. He thought to himself "What just happened!?!" He realized he was getting distracted and ran up to them. "Firebreeze, Dark! Wait up!" He said as he ran to them.
The group had too much on their mind to hear Arcane trying to get their attention. They walked to the rubble and grimly started picking through the debris. Anytime they found a Secret Police body, they tossed it into a pile to be taken care of later. It took nearly an hour before they found Snow's lifeless body, Dark took one look at it and instantly started bawling, Snow's body had somehow been perfectly preserved, there wasn't even a broken bone. They sat around Snow's body, trying to figure out what to do with it.
Arcane tried to catch up with them. When he did he tapped on darks shoulder. As he was looking at something.
