...Hmmm. Either it's an animation error, a simple oversight, or...maybe some sort of foreshadowing? Or maybe Discord made it appear that way so Applejack would think Twilight got her horn back and didn't do anything about Rarity's horn/Rainbow and Fluttershy's wings. Can you do that? Can you squee in fear? O_O @Saikyo and DRD Sorry to barge into this conversation, but I'm also curious to know which 'fic Saikyo is referring to.
I love this show animation errors or not. I listened to an interesting interview with an animator on the Bronyville podcast and she loves that we care so much, but is also a little hurt that we are so critical. bottomline. I would like to thank and hug every animator on this show for doing their best and giving me something the squeal in excitement about. They are hard workers and deserve to not care after they sign out from their day's work. Besides mistakes give obsessive bronies like us more to talk about.
I think of the errors (bloopers, I like to call them) as I think of parodies - I only watch parodies of shows I like. If I don't like the show, I'm not going to watch bloopers or parodies of them. So, seeing a clip of show bloopers just gives me the chance to watch the show all over again. It's like magic! Plus, it's kind of fun coming up with reasons why it's *not* an error!
I'm pretty sure the technology is more at fault than the animators for at least some--I'd even say MOST--of the animation errors...they are still using old programs, right?
At first I thought Fluttershy's conversion to discord was cheap, but now that I think about it, it was a compliment to her character that she could not be tricked into being mean. Discord had to force her to be. It seems strange that Rainbow Dash seemed to abandon her loyalty to her friends in order to be Loyal her home. Meaning that she is still following the element of loyalty. I can't wait to have this strange plot hole filled in the next episode.
I red on EQD whole season 2 is / soon will be available on Itunes. So I suppose it won't take that long until it's on youtube.

Finally watched the S2 e1!!!! :derpe: Joy, joy, joy... but really, I'm in a great mood! I also like how Fluttershy had to be actually forced into her "mean" state, unlike all the rest of the mane 6 (other than Twilight of course) But basically saying... EPIC. SO FREAKING EPIC. I was like, the whole time... while my dad, seeing my facial expressions, shook his head. :derpe:
