Hans Stihl was sitting in a trashed building on the second floor with his MP40. He is a young pony which is still confused how he came in such a situation. Since he was in this war he wasnt able to pull the trigger once. All he remember is that he was running for his life, watching his comrades doing his work and keep storming the front. But now he is all alone in this building, he isnt even sure if his mates have retreated or if they are all dead allready. He is just sitting there, listen to the gunfire. He dont want to end like this, nothing is worth a death like that, even not for territory and especially not for his führer. But when he needs to die, he will leave a message to the world, maybe his family will get the chance to read it one day. So he picks out of his bag some paper which got a little bit dirty on the edges he also pulls out a pencil and starts writing, layed down in the dirt to be sure to not get hit by any bullets.
(Where are you, this is 1943, you would have to be in Russia if the Germans are still trying to adavnce.)
(Well, not totally defeated, they were defeated by the winter for which they were unprepared, but continue. And remember, the Germans ended up taking 90% of the city, and it was close in, room to room fighting.)
-Alright, now I don't want to hear any voices until the enemy starts shooting at us, that's an order. On my count, 1, 2, Go! Go! Go! Now there was a mad dash right at the compound so far there were no shots fired since no enemies were noticing. S**t. Well, they saw a German alright. That smug bastard had a grim smile on his face. Why? He had an FG-42. Dapper aimed his M50 Reising, and pulled the trigger. Well, that German had no more face. Just an angry mass of red flesh where his face had been (thank you to Walter Dean Meyers for that line). They ran to the door of the compound and busted the door open. Private Poninski threw a grenade in. Huge bang, but no dying screams. They all ran in. Dapper shouted, -PUT YOUR HANDS UP! YOU'RE OUTNUMBERED! 15 Germans walked out defeated, with all kinds of looks on their faces. One spat at Corporal Trotson. He promptly received a bayonet to the stomach. Dapper ordered 3 of his men, Poninski Trotson and Jackson (what a strange name for a pony) to watch the Germans, while him and Gringe got the transport vehicle. Everypony had forgotten about Private Buck, which was good because he could still shoot any and all scraggling Germans. Then everypony heard a loud roar. They had gotten the vehicle. Dapper ordered to shoot all the Germans in both knees since they had no use for them. Buck dropped out of his tree with a cigar in his mouth, -Tell the other Germans what you saw. Now they could safely go to British base and deliver them the vehicle.
Hunt heard the explosions from the camp. He quickly managed to climb a tree, and hid between the green leaves. He waited, immobile, until he heard somepony getting down from a tree near him. 'Now, what do i do...?' Without thinking about it, he jumped down, took his rifle, and aimed at a pony with a cigar in his mouth. "Stop right there! Decline your identity imediatly!"
Dapper heard a hostile, and hustled all his men over to the voices -Listen, you've got 5 guns pointing back at you, jackass, so I suggest you drop your weapon, lest you end up like that guy over there without a face
Frog heard the explosion miles away in a training course for new recruits. There was enough smoke in the air to be seen from just about anywhere in Equestria, it seemed. He knew some people were in serious trouble, or maybe his side was winning. Of course, there was no way to know. Curiosity got the best of Frog though, and he gave the recruit to another Warrant Officer supervising the course.
union jack his squad and the resistance made it to the camp and they opened the gate only to notice a transport vehicle heading right towards them. "there's our ticket out of here, HEY STOP OR WE'LL SHOOT. MY NAMES UNION JACK PART OF THE BRITISH ARMY".
Frog got out of his vehicle, hoping not to be shot dead. He tried to prove to this "Union Jack" that he was friendly. "I only wanted to investigate the explosion!" said Frog.
"Woah, that was terrible but at least I know your with the British. Maybe you could help me, myself and my squad were shot down on the way to Italy so with the help of D'argent and his resistance. Were heading to free France and looking for a lift. Are you heading to any british base".
"well thanks, let us just load up in the back". With that he approched D'argent and saluted. "well I guess we shall meet again one day once the war is over and as a leaving gift take this it might serve you well". He unloaded a couple of scoped Lee-Enfields, some stens and a couple of revolvers from the back of the truck and gave them to D'argent and his team. "that is a good plan union, may you meet me in a free Paris when war has ended and as for the gifts I thank you and here's our gift to you in return". Each member of the resistance pulled out a armband in the style of the tricolour And a red cross of Lorraine on the right part of it. "this is the armband of the resistance may you wear it with pride and honour".
(0.0 sorry for that late reply...) ''And you truly don't know who i am. So i suggest you keep yourself from firing your water guns, and stop playing your little filly games. I said, decline your identity Immediatly, sir.'' A blue spark started to run on Hunter's rifle, while his eyes slowly turned black. ''If you appear to be no harm for me, perhaps we could deal something. As gentlecolts, we should always ask questions before pointing our guns, huh?''
-You're German, we don't appreciate your kind here. Gringe, detain him. -Now hold on one moment here, he might be onto some -Gringe, that's an order, this ain't the first time I fought Germans, an' I reckon I can deal with 'em just fine Gringe reluctantly followed orders
''I see. We can't come to an agreemant, so i guess that this meeting is over. You're lucky, i'll spare your lives this time. But violence only leads to vengance, sirs. You better keep an eye open, headshots can be... unpredictable.'' In the blink of an eye, Hunt climbed a tree, and jumped from tree to tree, in an attempt to escape.
-Ha! Spare our lives? Do you not see how outnumbered you are? Looks like you German scum haven't changed one bit since the first one! By which of course he was referring to World War I, in which he had part of his left wing blown off by a German hand grenade. -C'mon boys, I don't even know why we wasted our time with that hunk of junk. We got a job to do, c'mon -------------------------------------------------------------- By the time they had gotten to the British base, it was 0322, they had gone into the mess hall, where General Plimpton was waiting for him and his men to arrive with the vehicle. -You're late were the first words out of his mouth -You were never this slow when you were under my command Dapper spoke -We had a little...Confrontation with some Germans -Very well, you shall sleep in the mess hall until 0745, then you'll take the halftrack to the nearest American base which is due North fifty-one and-a-half kilometers Jackson chimed in -No food? -We cook for British soldiers, not Amareicans, we're low enough on food as it is -You heard General Plimpton, boys, get your rest, you're gonna need it And with that, they hit the sack
With a thousand prcautions, Hunt went back to the place were the 'meeting' had happened. As a hunter, he quickly spotted the traces on the ground, and followed them. It was nearly 0415 when he finally arrived to some british base. Hunt grinned to himself, took his rifle, and aimed the lights. first shot, he missed. He had looked at the light for too long, and there was a bright blue spot in the middle of his vision. Second shot... Success! The plexiglass shattered, and the neon gas quickly vanished, leaving the area in darkness. He aimed at a second light, but his eyes spotted a british soldier coming in his way. He growled, and climbed a tree, hoping to be hidden enough.
