The tale of Silver Shield

Prologue:​

Some 500 years ago there was a great battle. Invaders came from the east.
They came in search for gold, spices, and any other kind of valuables they could get they're hands on.
Then they would burn down all of the strategic points throughout this wonderful land.
The fire of friendship was still burning brightly throughout Equestria the windigoes would not return for some years to come.
Of course it was natural that ponies would defend what they hold closest to them, but some were there to take those that they love.
Now I should not want to tire you for I have been rambling for quite some time now.
Let's get on to the story....

Chapter one:​

Private Silver Shield was doing his normal patrol duties when he heard somepony screaming. He took to the sky to see what was happening when he saw that the pony who had screamed was standing in front of a burning home. It seemed to be her home, but he saw something else accuring in the background.
He saw eight ponies wearing black bandanas with a picture of a piece gold encrusted with a pony skull on it, under the skull were a pair pegasus wings with a unicorn horn in the middle.
His cutie mark was a shield and he always wore gleaming silver armor. He circled for a bit then swooped down to help the pony who seemed to own the burning house.
The mare looked up to see Private Shield swooping down. "Please help there are two fillies trapped inside my home!" she said.

"Okay ma'am, but first what is your name and how did these fillies get stuck inside your house?" asked Silver. "My name is Blurrberry, and I was ponysitting these young fillies for a friend when these bandits! Th-These thieves! Wh-whatever you would like to call them went behind my house and set the wooden walls on fire!" she replied.
"Oh please, pretty please help those poor inocent fillies who are trapped inside!" "Will do ma'am, but first I need some ice cold water." Silver gestured to the well, "Is this cold water ma'am?" She replied "No but it should be cool because it has been getting cold the past few nights." She walked over to her wagon, "Here use this bucket and that rope on the well to get some water." "Thank you ma'am now I'll get to saving these fillies" Silver said. Private Shield walked up to the well and attached the bucket to the hook and lowered it down. A few seconds later the bucket came out filled to the brim with cool water. Silver Shield drank some water then poured the best all over his armor and body. "Here we go that should give me a minute or two inside the house without burning up!" he exclaimed. Then just like that he took to the skies again and searched for a weakened spot in the roof.

He found a part that was falling apart and gathered up his speed at charged at that one spot. He smashed through and he could hear screaming from the next room! There were the fillies! He grinned to himself. Then he bucked the door down and saw the fillies huddled up together in a corner. He said "Come with me now! I'm here to save you!" Just then a support beam from the roof came down and smahed Silvers wing. "Gosh Darn it" He yanked his wing out it was bent awkwardly. He could feel the heat seeping through his armor. "Alright let's get outa here you two." He grabbed both fullies and put them on his back.
Then he ran to a wall and Galloped straight into it. He jumped out and flipped, grabbed both fillies and put them near his belly. He held them super tight then with a bone-crushing impact he slammed into the ground and all went black.

Chapter 2:​

Silver woke up 18 hours later to see a young healer pony named Blood Crystal, standing next to his bed unwrapping bandages on his wings.
He was startled and said "Why are you taking OFF the bandages?" She replied ",Well first of all I healed your wing from that fall you had."
"Thank you" he said "But are the fillies okay?" he asked. "Why of course they are! You saved them Specialist Silver!"
He was suprised at the statement. But not at the fillies being un-harmed but the fact she called him a specialist. "W-wait did you call me specialist?" he asked. "Why of course you commanding officers decided to promote you for you bravery because they needed you to help them fight the raiders!" she stated with emphasis on "Bravery."

"Wow, That's amazing! Healer" He said proudly. "Please call me Crystal, Blood Crystal" she said to Silver. "Your name suits your talent I see" he complented. "You are the best healer in all of equestria!" She blushed. "Thank you, now get some rest they plan on putting you back on the field in a week or two." "Okay" And just like that he fell asleep.

While he was asleep he could not stop thinking about how anypony could burn down a house like that. It was horrible to do that to their own race. Then he remembered the logo on their bandanas. It was horrible seeing a pony skull. These ponies were monsters! All he could think about was what could have happened if he hadn't been on duty at the time. Then he remembered what his commanding officer had always said
"Silver, everything happens for a reason. You have a shield as a cutie mark because you WERE meant to protect anypony that was in danger.
If something happens it was meant to be. Do not ponder on what was in the past. Think about what you are going to do about the present."
Then he took his commander's advice and ignored the though of the fillies burning up. Then he feel into a very deep sleep.

Well there it goes I'm making up more and more characters and adding them into the story with each chapter.

Well don't know who would want to read it through and fix some faults I couldn't find.
