Starring: Fluttershy, Lightningbolt, Chummy Fluff and Cloudflash You all know Fluttershy, the shy pegasus who lives a bit isolated. Wonder why she became so shy? I'll take you on a trip of expectations, disrespect and dishonour. It all started before Fluttershy was born. Her parents, Lightningbolt and Chummy Fluff, had a son, Cloudflash named. He was the very best at almost anything, the perfect son. When Chummy received her second foal, Fluttershy, it was also time for Cloudflash's homage to the best of the best, the Wonderbolts. Lightning and Chummy were so proud of their son that they wanted Fluttershy to be the same. Lightning tried to train Fluttershy for years, but with little success. "Higher!", "Faster!" and "Why can't you be like your big brother!" were common to Fluttershy. When Cloudflash came home, there was always a big meal for him, leaving Fluttershy with the leftovers. If this all wasn't enough, she got bullied by her own brother too. "Foolish filly, you'll never be like me!" "The best get the best, Fluttershy, that's why you'll never get anything!" She knew she was weak, it had all to do with her mother being not carefull enough during pregnancy. Always going to these races, that can never be good for the mother and the foal. But for her son she would do anything, Chummy always said. Then why not for her own daughter? The one that needs the most help now? One day Fluttershy even thought she might be the problem, and said to herself: "I need to prove myself to my parents, I will train as hard as I can, I will win some, no, all competitions and will join the Wonderbolts, just as my big brother. Then they might see me..." From that day, she only was 4 years old, she trained with her father, trying to ignore his statements. "You train hard, but not hard enough! Why can't you just be like my son?" "You're not even worthy to train with me, you know that? But I do it because you are Clouds sister." Yes, Lightning didn't even see Fluttershy as his own daughter, she was just dirt for him, something that you should get rid of very fast. Between two trainings in, Fluttershy heard a rumour from the bedroom of her parents. Are they fighting? No, that can't be! My Chummy mummy would never get in an arguement, would she? Fluttershy took a sneak peak and what she saw was horrifying. Lightningbolt had just hit Chummy in the face! "This is just your imagination, Fluttershy, just imagination." But the next morning at breakfast, a big meal for Cloudflash and some leftovers for Fluttershy, she saw her mother sitting at the other side of the table, with a black eye and a patch on the forehead. But there was nothing wrong, at least, that's how everything felt like. Chummy giving a kiss on the foreheads of both Lightning, her husband, and Cloud, her son. Between two 'Fluttershy jokes' in, Chummy secretly gave Fluttershy half a daisy sandwich, showing she did care about her, but that she just was overpowered. Trainings continued, and one day, Fluttershy finally tried to train without her father. This day is also the day we know as the Sonic Rainboom. You all know what happened next, Fluttershy got bullied because she couldn't fly as well, Rainbow Dash defended her and held a race against the bullies, Fluttershy fell down and discovered a world of peace, harmony and respect. This story may have a good ending but describes a surprisingly relevant subject, partner violence and child abuse. Also based on a story that's still going. ~Flutters
