Jason said "No, not that one, THAT one." He pointed at the poster that resembled the description gave by Soul.
Luna walked slowly through the town-turned forest, holding the skateboard, and enjoying the scenery. She heard talking a short distance off, and rushed towards it, hiding behind a bush. Peaking over it, she saw two of the bounty hunters from inside the sheriff's office talking about something. "Two giants... if I could get them to help me take out Mr. big bounty..." She smirked and laughed. Out loud. It took her a second to realize how horrible that was with two giant killers no more than 20 feet away. She yelled at herself in her head, then rolled so she was actually in the bush, hoping they wouldn't search that hard.
Moses looked towards the direction from the voice, then had a small smirk on his face. "Your embarrassing yourself, we know you are there. Might as well just jump out that bush, we seen you leap into it."
Jason took a look at the poster. "It says her bounty is... seven thousand dollars. Not a bad amount of money." He then turned to Soul. "You know, my parents were killed when I was a little boy, too," Jason told Soul, "When I was seven, in fact. Came home from school one day, and there they were, on the floor, dead from stab wounds." Jason pulled out his shotgun and showed it to Soul. "This shotgun belonged to my father," Jason explained, "As such, it is the only weapon I've ever had, and the only one I've ever needed. It's all I have left of him. And I don't even know who killed him." He then stood up. "Soul," he proclaimed, "Mark my words, we WILL find the b%tch who killed your folks. I swear on my mother's grave."
"Goddam..." Luna rolled out of the bush and stood up, leaving the board on the ground to kick it angrily. "On the bright side, I know you aren't going to kill me. So..." She walked over and grabbed the board off the ground. "What's your alterior motive for trying to get allies?" She walked over to the two and dropped into sitting on the board.
"It's fairly easy really, don't shoot at them" Moses responded through the helmet before taking both of his hands and pressing a tiny button on his helmet, which seemed to slightly decompress air before Moses lifted the helmet off to reveal his face. He looked like an old Viking, with blonde hair easily going down the back of his neck alongside a long beard to match and had piercing blue eyes. "Moses Vanstone, Been a Bounty Hunter for almost thirty years and a Desert Ranger before that." Moses said before looking at the girl while the other giant nearby was making food. "Pleasure to meet you, miss..."
"Luna Sinez. I can't remember anything from before a couple years back so don't ask me where I'm from or what my story is. I started bounty hunting when I accidentally killed a "famous" bandit out in Texas. The pay was good, so I just kept doing it." She looked at the mute. "And him?"
Moses turned his head to the side. "Don't actually know, he just showed up about five minutes ago. Although, I can assume he's after the same thing we are. Not really much of a talker."
Dark blinks, looking at the group through a pair of binoculars. He had found a scooter about ten miles into his hike, so the 50 mile journey wasn't as bad. He folds the scooter, stuffing it into his backpack. "Wonder if I should join them... They might be friendly..." He mutters. "Best to join them, I want to make some allies if I want to get money."
Moses looked at the small group merging together before having an idea. "Seeing how we are all together, we might as well work together and split the reward. As much as I would love 50 million, I would be happy with just a million. Of course, we can split this. And seeing how Knight is a man of his caliber, we might need it." (Going to write some more stuff in the OCC soon, this will be about technology)
(Soul) I don't need any of that money. All I want is to be able to find this murderous woman *shows them the poster of the woman who killed Soul's parents*
(When did you get here?) "Yea... Probably for the best. I mean, I could handle knight fine... but I'm sure he has guards." Luna picked a rock off the ground and tossed it in the air, reaching up and grabbing it before it reached its apex.
(He's the mute that Crimson was referring to) (Soul) *pushes glasses back up* If I find her before you guys can catch Knight, I'll help you out. I have the perfect weapon. *pulls flamberge out of its sheath* I commissioned this flamberge from a blacksmith with access to technology from before the great collapse. *presses a button on the hilt* *the blade ignites* See?
(No... That would be scarecrow's character. Last we saw you, you were talking about your parents death in the sherrif 's office. Btw, mute means doesn't talk)
Moses kept quiet, although the rifle on his back was easily noticeable. What was also spotted was a fairly large revolver and a bowie knife hanging at his belt. "He's got plenty of them, around a hundred or so actually. I've already scouted the entire area, getting inside the city will not be easy. However, they are generally untrained. I'm assuming that Knight knows that his followers are disposable and that his real army is located else where, these 'civilians' might actually be recent coverts." The Ranger responded. "Vincent Knight is known across America as the Last Emperor, but he has his reasons. He's the ruler of an industrial, militant and hyper religious organization based out in the South, where he has declared himself as the Emperor. Knight is a cult leader of some crazy religion that he created and his subjects are indoctrinated to a state of near-worship. He claims that his society is trying to rebuild the world, but in reality they are a group of slavers who murder innocent people and children, burn down entire towns and perform atrocities for Knight's "Religious authority. It's likely about time that a bounty is on him, he is a monster.
Daniel walks up to them, wondering how he should introduce himself... He wasn't good with talking to people much... But, he had to try, right? "Uh... Hi..." He says, immediately regretting ever opening his mouth.
Moses turned around, noticing another person that likely sought the same idea that Moses had, although it was starting to get crowded now. Still, having more allies couldn't really hurt. "Howdy, take it that you're after Knight as well?"
The giant waved his hand for a moment at Moses's comment on the bounty. He suddenly dug into his pocket, taking out some money and a small collage of photographs. He dumped the photon on the ground, but did something slightly strange to the money: He impaled it with a buck-knife he had quickly taken out, and put it over the lit burner, lighting it into smoldering ashes. As for the photos, the revealed disturbing qualities of the giant. The first one was special simply because it showed more than one man... alive. Two rather large men, one the male who was here now, identifiable by his gas-mask, and the other a very large man as well, standing not too short beside Adrian. He wore similar clothes, dark and rugged, thick and covered in... blood. They both had their weapons easily shown, red liquid sticking to the metal, and the slightly shorter man wielded two large twin machetes, rusted and worn, with flat tops like a huge cleaver. His face was hidden under a ragged and stitched up wool mask that covered his face entirely except for his eyes and mouth. Behind them was a grotesque collaboration of brutally mutilated corpses of mostly elk... and several people. On the bottom of the photo was "Dmitri & Adrian, hunting trip, June 13th" written in the dark red ink of a marker. On the back, written with the same marker was a message. "Adrian, keep the fun times rolling. Good hunting. - You're Uncle Dmitri." The other photos were just of him, and his other prey, all human, sometimes multiple. One photo involved woman dangling by her feet from a rope, another of him holding a severed head of a man, he body laying at his feet, devoured by various bear traps. It was a large collection, and it meant to show that Adrian was not here for money, but rather, the hunt.....
