(Ryborians are mortal. They live to 4000, and were thought of as gods in ancient times. Venquis, even with his new powers, is still mortal.) Venquis expected his opponent to rush at him in several moments. For just a brief second, he let his guard down and went to see Ycept and Obsidian to make sure they were ok. "He should be appearing to Celestia, not me. The story about Dark Plague is just proof of that power can corrupt." Venquis said. "Are you alright? You hurt in anyway?"
(He meant it for effect, not literally.) "My leg. I can not put weight on it." Obsidian sighed. "My book. He said there is Sombra in it. I do not know what he means." He grunted as blood started dripping down his leg. "I could use healing."
"I don't know any healing magics...", Yclept said, ripping a piece of his cloak off & bandaging obsidian with it
"Calm down, you see I'm the real one. The Phoenix Queen remembered me and the rest of the final eclipse team and revived us. Thinking we would work for her again. She was wrong so I escaped searching for the prince". Robin explained himself as cobra tried to get Silver off him.
Silver stepped back. "I... see. In any case, Holly remembers you, and her nose is never wrong." He looked at Robin carefully, uncertain of how to react to the news that his old friend had returned from the dead. "I am sorry, old friend, but this is an unusual situation. I had heard rumors that Celestia was dabbling in necromancy, but to see it with my own eyes... I must ask, Robin... are you truly alive, or are you some kind of... undead thing?"
"I'm the real thing, as she used the wrong spell. she tried to use the servant Resurrection spell but instead did a heroes resurrection spell. Anyway its nice to see you again. If only ocean, crim and I stuck together. Ill be providing and leading the Archers on the wall if you need me." After saying the final goodbyes robin left to return to his men on the wall. Cobraheart turned to Silver "We should probably head to Venquis or maybe tell nightmare moon that the Redeemers of midnight have been revived in their full power state."
Obsidian suddenly felt lighter on his hooves as the wound on his leg was surrounded with a dark purple glow and closed. The glow then spread throughout most of his body, covering him completely. When the glow faded away, he felt better than he had in days. Even his minor aches and pains were gone for the moment. This magic, of course, had been a result of Star Shimmer's newfound abilities. As she came into view, she was smiling brightly as the circlet glowed with her inner magic. "So...this is what it's like being a unicorn..." she mused as she approached the others.
"Hmm. I feel grand. Thank you, Star." As the magic flowed off of him a minor bit of it coalesced on the shard hidden in the binding in Obsidian's book. "That thing unnatural. Your new horn, impressive, Star. I take it went well." Redscale flew over the kingdom, watching carefully. He saw a small battle break out but end quickly... When the assaulter vanished into the ground. Redscale saw him reappear a short while later on the other side of a large building. He started to follow him.
While Silver and Holly were getting reaquainted with Robin, Nightmare Moon was telling Cadence about her lastest adventures. "...and then the dragons arrived, and we all came here." The Dark Princess had been talking for nearly twenty minutes without stopping. "Well, now you know what I've been up to. How have you been, Cadence?"
Yclept smiled when when he saw star,"welcome back! And... What's that on your head?", he asked, sheathing his sword
Star nodded to Obsidian. "It went better than I could ever have imagined." When Yclept addressed her, her cheeks inexplicably turned a deeper purple. She glanced upward at her crown and smiled. "Princess Cadence called it the 'Unicorn Crown'. It lets me use magic just by thinking about it, just like...you." ------ Meanwhile, the princess was happily engaging her aunt. "Things are going better than expected, considering the circumstances... I almost hate to say this, but if Twilight were still here, things might be much different. Worse... Spike has proven his loyalty to the Crystal Empire for decades. I'm truly sorry that it has to be like this. I sincerely hope that we can stop whatever it is that's corrupting Celestia."
Yclept smiled more & faintly blushed,"well it looks beautiful on you...", he says, walking over to star
Nightmare Moon sighed sadly. "If Twilight Sparkle had not gone missing, the other Elements would not have vanished while searching for her. After the Elements were lost, my sister was forced to turn to forbidden magic to defend Equestria. She thought that she could fight the corruption. She was wrong. I hope that the Celestia that we once knew still exists somewhere within this 'Phoenix Queen,' but I do not know if we can save her."
(Robin, Ridley. They are back.....) Standing on a cliff that overlooked the city were two figures, whose faces were hidden by hoods to avoid their identities being revealed. They wore simple brown robes over a set of armor to protect them from the realities of the war. If Celestia were to find out their identities, she would classify them as ‘Hyper-Risk’ individuals and brand them as traitors to their own homeland, alongside an enormous price on their heads. Standing on the cliff were a female Pegasus and a male Unicorn. Even though they appeared youthful, they were actually centuries old. ‘It’s beautiful, isn’t it my love?” the pegasi said, noting the city nearby. “It truly is. It only feels like yesterday since it returned, but we both know that was when we were still...” the unicorn tried to finish before he was cut mid sentence by his wife. “Mortal?” the mysterious pegasi said. “When the princess brought us back to life, she purposely made us immortal. It appeared that she never wanted to lose us again, and that she did the same to Robin. The persona of the Phoenix Queen is exactly the thing we swore to destroy all those years ago, back when the Ardak Luvanius were around.” “And Midnight....” The unicorn said sadly. “From what I know, he is still alive. Celestia has imprisoned him and has been tortured him. He is having a worse fate then us, being tortured by his own mother... it’s disgusting. Luckily, the resistance back in Equestria is trying to break him out so that is taking the weight of our shoulders for a while. The Night Princess is here, I can sense that energy anywhere from here to Ardelan. Robin is believed to be here as well, and possibly Silver. I wonder how he is holding up?” the Unicorn said. They both looked at the city again as the unicorn and the Pegasus watched the civilians lives below. “Well my husband, it seems like we have some business to conduct. Celestia is getting stronger every second we wait, so let’s not waste anytime. It’s about time we paid our old friends a visit.” The mysterious Pegasus said. The figures might not look intimidating, but are two of the four legendary redeemers of Midnight Dawn, the others being Silver/Holly and Robin. The Pegasus might not look fearsome, but was ludicrously quick and agile. The Unicorn however, ever since he defeated the Ardak Luvanius known to history as Sollus, was the strongest of his kind in existence. He was ten times stronger than Celestia formerly was in magic before her corruption and used to serve as her right hand agent. They both gave each other a kiss and headed down towards the city. ----------------------------------- Venquis was busy trying not to fall asleep. He was still drowsy, but was close to waking up anyway until he was 'woken up' in his fight against the mysterious pegasi.
A gentle breeze was blowing towards the city, so Holly caught the scent of Crimson and Ocean long before they came into view. She barked excitedly an ran to greet her old friends. "Holly, wait! Where are you going?! Sorry, Robin, I have to leave. Something big is happening." He rushed after Holly, chasing her for nearly a mile before he finally spotted two ponies in the distance. Even cloaked as they were, Silver recognized his old friends immedietly. He stopped in his tracks and stared, not believing his eyes. Silver was almost thirteen-hundred years old. He had seen many strange thing in his long life, but the sudden return of his three long-dead companions was by far the strangest.
"Well I'll be damned..." Crimson said, looking at Silver and Holly just simply stand there in shock. Crimson and Ocean continued walking into the city, civilians beginning to stare at them wide eyed and wondering in mystery of the cloaked ponies. Their hoods just came over their eyes, so that only the lower half of their face was visible. Crimson and Ocean were also dressed in a special armor underneath the brown cloaks that covered almost their entire body, the only parts other than their mouths being visible were their boots. Even with absolutely no Equestrian presence in the area, Crimson and Ocean could not reveal their identity to the public yet. "It's been centuries Silver. It's nice to see you and Holly again, how's the world of the living treating you?" Crimson spoke. Ocean went up to give Silver a friendly hug before returning to her husbands side. "We have alot to explain about us being...well..alive. We also have crucial news about the war, Celestia, and the prince that we became friends with all those moons ago. It seems Midnight is in a bad shape." "We know about you and Princess Luna as well. You have been traveling with a group of ponies, have you not? We have been quite well informed about our situation when Celestia brought us and Robin alive once again. When we found out what she had become, what slavery and oppression has been happening back in Equestria, we refused to work with her. She did not like that, not...one bit. So, we left to search for you and Luna after lying to the princess by telling her that we were going to kill all of you. There is a resistance back in Equestria trying to cut supply lines for the Invasion here, so they are buying you as much time as they can." "And also, The Phoenix Queen has done something to us that might play to our advantage. After Twilight's disaperance, Celestia went into a long period of depression. She wanted to never lose anypony again. So, to make sure she did not lose us. She has made us immortal."
"The two of you are certainly a sight for sore eyes! I never imagined that I'd ever see either of you or Robin again... considering the fact that you were dead, and all. I cannot believe that Celestia sought to send you against her own sister! She has truly fallen far." Silver shook his head angrily, and continued. "After you three... died... and Princess Luna abdicated her throne, I convinced her to stay in Everfree Forest with myself and the Night Guards. She seemed content, until very recently, when Celestia began sending assassins after her. The heartbreak of her sister's betrayal was more than she could stand. She fell ill... she nearly died on the journey here. I did what had to be done. To save the life of the Night Princess, I awakened Nightmare Moon." Silver did not comment on the 'immortality' part of Crimson's story. He would believe it when he saw it.
Yclept smiles even more when he's right next to star & pulled her into a kiss, hoping hoping for the best
“We were taken against our will and brought back to life. Celestia is attempting to do so with many fallen heroes from the past. She has however, taken a special interest in one of them. I could not tell who it was, but his power is incredible. All I have heard about him is that he’s more like a ‘Ghost’ than a pony. If he was to search for us, and he possibly will due to some rumours about his background, we must be at our best or else we will all die.” Ocean said sadly. “Celestia’s beginning to crack. She is truly going mad over this whole thing, and her corruption is not helping her. If she were not who she was now, i could have stopped this madness. But now, she would kill me easily if I were to face her alone.” Crimson added. The three redeemers looked behind them as they seen Robin coming towards them. Crimson and Ocean greeted their friend again until they got straight to business. “There are reports coming from near the borders. Our reinforcements have arrived, but so has Equestria’s. We have the Crystal Empire, The Zebra nation of Zebrica, The Griffons from Griffonia, the Ryborian survivors from Ardelan and, of course, the dragons on our side. They have all brought enormous armies with the exception of the Ryborians, who mustered all their forces they could since Celestia started another genocide there. Equestria outnumber us ten to one, but lack discipline and training in all their forces. We have the advantage unless Equestria expects backup.” Robin said, panting in exhaustion. He looked like he had just ran a marathon. Crimson’s looked worried as he thought of possible situations. “This is going to be close, very close. By the looks of things, all our forces, even with all of us and The Princess are sitting on equal ground against Celestia.” Crimson then looked at Silver. “I was thinking of going to meet all of your companions in the fight against The Phoenix Queen. But it seems that Equestria has decided to surprise us by deciding to attack early. Let’s hope that we all survive this.....” -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eyes began to open up slowly as he has seen his first rays of light in years. He was considered to be dead, but felt completely alive. Celestia had successfully resurrected the most dangerous and lethal Ryborian in modern history. His mane and beard was white as the most brilliant snow and had a very pale complexion to his mane. His eyes had the signature blood red isis that was common in Ryborians. He was over 2,500 years old, just over half his lifespan. He was given a fur coat to warm himself up and stood face to face with Celestia in the palace. “Why did you bring me back Equestrian?” Dovian questioned. “Why did you let me come back to the world of the living, the afterlife was more than enough for me.” “Dovian Frenzia. The infamous White Reaper of Ardelan. The one who betrayed his own race for the glory of power and honor. It’s quite an honor meeting you, Equestria has changed since drastically since you were killed by Razona.” Celestia said. She had him exactly where she wanted him, controlling him like a puppet. “Venquis Razona. He was the one that killed me when i tried to invade Ellion and prompently send my glorious empire to oblivion. Are you sending me for him?” he questioned. Celestias smile grew wider and wider. “Better. In the Crystal Empire is my sister, Princess Luna and a group of her companions. Venquis and Cobra, two ponies who killed you are among them. Equestria is invading that nation very soon, giving you time to catch them off guard. You know exactly what to do. You will have your chance for revenge. They believe you are still dead.” Celestia said. “Your weapons and armor is outside the palace. An express flight by my guards will take you there quickly.” “Understood. I might not be Equestrian, but you fight for a cause we both believe in. I have the utmost respect for you.” Dovian said as he went to travel to The Crystal Kingdom. By the end of the week, the world will know the White Reaper has returned
"Celestia's forces may lack discipline and training, but their fanatical devotion to the Phoenix Queen makes them dangerous. Do not underestimate them." He thought for a moment. "We need to make a plan. Gather the team at the Crystal Palace. It's time to prepare for battle."
