"Pardon?" responds Grey, "You were playing your violin? How'd you manage that while running?!" He turns around. "Anywho; I've got to get to the Engine room." He put his Headphones back on, And gallops away.
I grab his shoulder and take off his headphones "What are you doing!" he said in a panicked voice "we aren't ready for take off, now we can do this the easy way or the hard way and i would prefer the easy way,".
"Rude much?" he cockily responds. Then pauses for a bit, "I was just going to Overclock the Engines. Make 'em run faster. 75% faster now that I think about it." He completely forgets about Clef at this point, going of on a rant, If I were to reroute the primary power feed to the magnetic coils, We'd get boosted power output, but at the cost of potential magnetic instability. But I think I could compensate for that by supplying extra Coolant to the module. Though I'd need to deprive another part Of coolant in order to do that. I guess the ship doesn't really need Water supply line at this point, so I could use that! And, I could use the Water pump from the line as well, to better circulate the whole thing! But then I have the problem of increased magnetic output, but the ECU probably has a limiter on the speed. I know! I could remove the limiter, route the coolant going to it elsewhere, Because we wouldn't need it anymore anyway, thereby increasing the ships Potential thrust by 45%! But that 30% short... I'll have to see if I could tamper with the fuel feed, and maybe have the fuel injectors not limit volume of fuel per cycle. That way I could supply increased Fuel to the engines, and as such, with the increased electromagnetic output Propel the ship at some 70% greater speeds! Dammit! 5% short! I'll figure this one out, I will!" Now yelling, Grey one runs of towards the Engine room again.
"ARGGGGGGH" I scream, I chase after him again "Come on please i don't want to poke you! you could be a good asset to our squad." He tackled him and pinned him to the ground he pulled out his violin with quick speed and started to play forgetting to put in his earplugs. "Oh crap," he fell to the ground snoring.
Kidd was stunned. He was being let go? And what was Rashall taking about? Another enemy? As he was escorted to the hanger, Kidd tried to understand what Rashall could possibly mean. When they reached the hanger, Kidd stole one final glance over his shoulder. Before departing, he called out, “Well, it has been a pleasure, but before I go… Favor for a favor. That grey earth pony that appeared? I’m not sure you noticed, but I think he was headed for your engines. I would take him seriously if I were you; he was wearing a fez. Fezzes are cool.” His suggestion spoken, Kidd leapt into the nearest shadow and disappeared. He sped to the shadow nearest Blize. Once Kidd returned, he informed Blize of everything he had done and witnessed. Kidd looked over at David, and then said, “I don’t know what any of it means, Captain. But I think if David is going to recover, we need to get him to some kind of shelter. Maybe then he could wake up, and we could all form a plan. Waddaya say, Captain?”
*OOC: Thank you for the Dr. who reference... Just... Thanks you* Blize opened one eye slowly and then the other. He clopped his hooves back down to the ground and fluttered his wings before tucking them away. "Well. It seems you were mildly successful in your distraction. I'm just glad to see that you returned safe and that they're not truly after us. But if they aren't... Then what could it be? Well either way. You are correct. We need to find a safe shelter to take care of David properly. He's been asleep ever since you left. Do you know of any shelters or anything near by? Or perhaps there is some way to hide in the shadows as you do? Either way, it's getting dark. Dark in this part of Equestria can only bring one thing. I've heard stories of beasts that feed on pony flesh during the night in these canyons. We need to take our leave quickly. Any suggestions Kidd?" As Blize finished speaking his mind wandered on to a different subject. Who was this Grey pony that seems to be trying to cause some sort of ruckus on Rashall's ship. Either way, he was for him or against him. He only hoped it wasn't the latter.
OOC: Rolls 1d3 (1d6 [- 3 if > 3]). Result = 4 - 3 = 1. Sleep for 1 hours. IC: Grey gets up from out of under the Tan coloured pony confused. "Hwhat?" Grey replaces the fez back onto his head, then turns back to the sleeping pony, "What a snorefest this one. He should open a sleep clinic."
David slowly open's his eyes and realized green spots have appeared all over his body. With this, he passed out again.
Kidd shudders at the thought of these “beasts”. He takes a moment to think of a good place to hide. Kidd says, “Well Captain, I’m afraid I’ve never tried taking something with me when I go through the shadows, and I don’t think now would be a good time to try. Sorry about that, but I think I found somewhere where we can rest up for the night. When I was traveling to get here, I felt a group of shadows that looked like they were in a cave. It’s only a mile from here, so if we hurry, the two of us could probably carry David to it before nightfall. Let go, Captain!” As Kidd and Blize flew David to the cave, Kidd continued talking, he said, “I think this cave will be safe, it felt big enough to fit us comfortably, but small enough that it shouldn’t hold any nasty surprises.” The cave soon came into view, and the two pegasus ponies landed just as the red horizon turned black, and the moon took command of the sky.
Clef woke up seeing the grey pony when he opened his eyes. He stood up very slowly and said "please to me you aren't going to mess with the engines i need to get back to my squad," . He grabs his violin and puts it back to his pack he then looked at the pony and smiled.
"Don't worry Clef he can't do anything to the engines not with the spirit pool acting the way it is. Captain take us to the source of the anomaly, recall Silvermanes Vengeance and put Ravens Vigil in her place we will be needing the demon hunters on this one. Inquisitor Adrastia I presume you made it here. . . unhindered?" says Rashall looking at a pony with a wide brimmed hat, the hat has a stylized "I" on it and for some reason this strikes you with fear around her are a group of wolves bedecked in storm trooper armor their hellguns at the ready. "No problems where encountered if that is what you are getting at. Lord Inquisitor Myras has arrived with several squads of crusaders at his command and is awaiting further orders. There is definitely something going on here Rashall and Blize is not the one in charge of it." says the Inquisitor, Rashall simply nods and you feel the ship lurch around it's heading changed.
He looks at Rashall and friendly hit him "so i chased him for nothing! you could have told me earlier," he laughed "so were is that pony that gave me that horrific nightmare i want to teach him a few things,". He walks behind Rashall and looks at the pony he had been chasing "Hey, whats your name i never got to hear it!" he said with a playful smile.
"No time for idle chat now Clef, the worst is yet to come. A chaos portal has opened up somewhere in the plains and we need to shut it down as soon as possible." says Rashall with a look of grim determination.
Blize looked at Kidd and then around the cave. He was right. It was rather roomy, but not so much that there seemed to be any troublesome creatures. He looked at David and sighed. "So, I know you said you have no idea what's wrong with him Kidd, but he seems to have gained some strange green spots. Do these mean anything to you?" Blize asked. He was eager to get David better, because the sooner he could, the easier it would be to figure out what Rashall and his troops were up to. And why they weren't after him.
"What!?" he yelled "we need to find the portal! I can try to scout for the portal if it is necessary,". He walk over to his helmet that the nightmare pony had thrown off and put it back to his head and he looked at Rashall. "We can probably take the squad and split up to cover more ground and don't worry I wont be poked again without a fight," he said in a determined voice.
"No not until we find out which Chaos God has broken through, the warlocks and librarians have a fix now all we need to do is wait it will take about two hours to find the portal and a safe drop zone. For now find something to occupy yourself that won't get you in any trouble, I will be in my chambers if you need me ask around if you wish to talk with me." says Rashall before stalking off.
Grey looks around. "Well this is proving absolutely useless." He raises his hoof, inspecting the display on his temporal device. He shakes his head, and lowers the hoof. Adjusting his shades, which slid off while he shook his head, An expression of deep thought creeps to his face. "Soon, but not soon enough." he comments to himself. He turns to look around him. Satisfied no one is trying to poke him, he stomps the hoof with the Temporal device. It begins to emit a progressively higher pitch buzzing Noise until BANG! With a flash of light and a tear in space he disappears, Leaving nothing behind.
"Ugh" he groaned "what am i supposed to do with no fighting at all." He walks around the ship trying to find something worthwhile to do but then he walking down the training hall he saw the jet pack section of the training course. "Well might as well get good at flying," he puts on a jet pack and pushed the starting button. He was launched into the air flying every where he did that for one hour until he figured out how to steer and control height. "That was pretty easy i guess i should tell Rashall that im good at Jet packing now," he ran down the hallway trying to find Rashall's room. After 10 minutes he had finally found the room he knocked on the door and yelled "Rashall i think i got the whole jet pack thing covered is there any kind of arcade around here somewhere,"
The warning klaxons start sounding again and the door in front of you opens up. You see Rashall in full armor, but his eyes are burning with what looks like blue fire, without even looking at you he heads towards an access hatch leading to the top of the ship.
"Wait Rashall where are you going!" he yells. He chases after Rashall by going up the hatch he climbs up to the top of the ship "What's happening!" he yelled because of the altitude.
