Blize looks over at Lyne "How long would the refining process take and what materials would we need for it? I say we have about an hour at most before we need to clear out of here, and we're going to be leaving here caring a patient or with everyone healthy." Blize's head began to burn. Every time he closed his eyes he saw strange shapes with sharp gnashing teeth and blood red eyes. He saw a fire. Something was coming. And it was coming for them. "Gentlemen. I would like to announce, that I fear this has turned into more than a simple poke war, but something bigger... Something I don't think we can fight on our own. I don't know what it is, but it's huge. I need you guys to figure out how to fix David. I feel it's time to pay a personal visit to Rashall myself. Any questions before I leave?"
David begins to only breath through his nose, which barely gives him enough air since it is already stuffed up. David struggles and says, "If i dont make it, *coughs* Take this..". Just then, David slowly pulls out a Strange device from his pack. He begins to hand it towards Kidd, then suddenly his face is emvoured in green spots.
Grey holds out a small cup of warm tea to David, To which he adds 1mg of iso-butyl-propanoic-phenolic acid*, Taken from his pack. "Here, try to drink this. It'll help. It should also soothe your throat." He holds it out, as to try to help David drink. OOC: *I had to memorize that for chem.
OOC: Wow Grey. Just wow Blize looked at Grey. "I don't know where he is, but I figure I'd cause another energy blast big enough for his ship to see and maybe get his attention that way. And yes. I'm positive..." Blize looked at the strange device in David's hoof. "David... What is that?"
Lyne looks over at David. “To be perfectly honest, I’ve just recently obtained a sample of Epinephrine. I have never worked with it before. I was going to experiment with it in a day or so.” Kidd rolls his eyes. “Come on! Just tell us what to do. We have my shadow travel… and whatever this Grey guy can do.” The zebra removes a vial of a clear liquid. “Take this and heat it to a boil.” Kidd quickly grabbed the vial in his mouth and hurried through a shadow. He returned within half a minute, slightly scorched-looking. “Here ya’ go- one boiled medicine-thingy.” Lyne examines the vial. “Now I need to bubble oxygen through it…” The zebra sets up a small system of tubes and beakers. He connects the vial, and small bubbles rise through the clear liquid, turning it a pleasant pink color. “Now we need to cool this down.” Kidd grabs the vial, and again rushes through a shadow. He returns, covered in snow. Lyne takes the vial once more. He says, “Now all I need is some of this…” The zebra sprinkles a few herbs into the vial, and the liquid becomes clear once more. Lyne hands the vial to Grey and says, “You give it to him, it was your idea, and I am no longer responsible for what YOU do to him.”
OOC: Hey, I also had to remember N1,N3-dimethyl-N1,N3 bis(phenylcarbonothioyl)propanedihydrazide for a Chem project. (I also had to learn to pronounce it.) He takes the mixture, Wafting it to check that it smells right, He ruffles through his pack and removes A pneumatic syringe. Removing the sterile cap and Drawing the liquid into the syringe, He clicks the auto pump button, to remove Any oxygen from it. He turns to David. "This may hurt." unceremoniously stabbing it into his flank, he adds, "Okay, it will hurt." OOC: Result. 1. Your air passages will dilate, no more breathing problems. 2. Epinephrine (aka Adrenaline) will not allow you to fall asleep And should prevent you from going unconscious. 3. It probably hurt.
David weakly anwsers Blize: "This.. *coughs and pukes up blood* is a Zork ray". "It can destroy any thing made of flesh...." "I thought *Coughs louder* You would want to be surprised in battle when i used it" "But, i guess *coughs* Its yours now..." *Davids eyes close and he goes into a deep coma, green spots appearing on the bottom of his hooves now*
"Ah! Why have I been so stupid!" Grey cries out, Hitting himself over the head with his hoof. "I'm sorry David, it's for the best." He pokes him, freezing him in time, Until he is unfrozen. "He turns to Blize, we'll figure this out later, For now, we have to figure out how to figure this out." he says, he tone grim. OOC: If you want to be unfrozen, just post my profile a message.
"I would like to go to the Librarius please," he said with a smile "I could really read a book right now,". He runs over to the large library doors he looks at the hundreds of books but he noticed a book on the ground it read "Mysterious Sickness," he read out loud. He starts to read the book looking at the most horrifying sickness he had ever saw, one of them were barfing out of your intestines, another one was getting spots all over yourself and slowly start to died. When he tried to get to the next page it was ripped from the book "what the hay!" he said "great now i don't know how it goes!".
Blize looked at David. "No... David... Wake up. Stop this now." He slams his hooves on the ground. "Grey. Why isn't this medicine working? I thought it would get rid of this? Blast. Well... I don't even know what to do right now. I've taken care of this young pegasus since he was little. Oh celestia, I'm so angry right now. You guys figure out how to handle this. I'm going to go get Rashall's attention. Blize flew out of the cave as fast as he could and then flew up as high as he could and preformed the same stall and fall as he did earlier. He slammed into the ground as hard and fast as he could, but when he let out an energy blast he flew back up into the air but hit a rock in the side of the cliff on the back up and fell to the ground and passed out.
Grey turns to Kidd. "Make sure no ill comes to David; His time line is frozen, even paused You could say. His condition cannot worsen, Because it's a fixed point in our Time lines." He turn to the cave's exit, "I'll go see where Blize went."
Blacksun laughs, "A trick book it seems our librarian brothers still know a joke or two. Welcome then to the Librarius, here are numerous records of many things from hero's to great events. This is also where warlocks like myself and the other librarians train and hone our skills and powers." says Blacksun Before you can do anything else a call comes over the com system. "Blacksun and Clef report to the bridge asap!"says the captain.
He puts the book back into the shelf and looks back at it "still that could have been useful what if someone gets that!" he said "it just might be fake,". He walks back to Blacksun and says "so are there any books about music?" he questioned. When he was about to speak the com interpreted him "come on lets go," he yelled. He had already dashed out of the Library rushing towards the bridge.
Standing at the mouth of the cave, Grey scan the scene in front of him, in search of Blize. He reflexively reaches up to his face, But then realizes his glasses aren't there. Sighing, he reaches into his pack, and then Holds up the left lens, once again searching the For Blize. "Oh dear." Pocketing his glasses, he looks to his Hoof, and a progressively higher pitches whir sounds. Then BANG! BANG! He appears beside the unconscious pony. He bends down to inspect him, Making sure no bones are broken. Finding nothing other than a head injury, He carefully slings the pony over his back. He turns to look at his hoof and mumbles "2 minutes, 18 seconds to go..."
Kidd nodded his head solemnly, he turned to Lyne. “What is your take on all this?” Lyne shakes his head angrily. “I can’t believe this! Who is that Grey fellow? How did he know something I didn’t about medicine? And what was he talking about? Time? What does that have to do with any of this?” Kidd reflected on what his friend said. A theory begins to develop. Rashall spoke of “Another enemy” and during all of his snooping before he joined Blize, he heard constant talks of “Chaos” and “Portals”. And David… Something was wrong. Lyne said he was in perfect health, and Grey seemed to know something about it. All the puzzle pieces were starting to fall into place… But Kidd needed more to finish it.
With a BANG! Grey rematerialized inside the cave, The unconscious body of Blize slung over him. Panting, he walks towards the fire pit. "You... really need.. to go on... a diet." Grey manages to say as he carries the body. He kneels down by the fire pit, And gently sets down the unconscious pony. Then gets up, and lies down beside the fire pit as well. "Ow, my limbs..."
As you enter the bridge you notice that Rashall is nowhere present. "Whats going on Swiftwind?" asks Blacksun. "Energy pulse here, Rashall has gone to get reinforcements and will return. Another gate has been sighted thats why he's gone, this one is twice the size as the one we just destroyed." says the captain.
"What!?" he exclaimed "whats happening, monster spawning from portals! Rashall better hurry up,". He walked towards the window searching for anything abnormal but he had stopped a cave with a faint glow. "Whats over there? i think that cave is occupied by something,".
“Now here is something I can help with!” Lyne attends to Grey and Blize. He mixes up a quick salve, and coats Grey’s limbs with it. He says, “This will absorb into your limbs and speed up the healing process, it will also reduce the pain” The zebra then focused on Blize. He bandaged the damaged areas, and poured a greenish liquid down the fallen pony’s throat. He says, “He should wake up soon, I also gave him something for his pain.” Kidd snapped out of his thoughts. He walked over to Grey and asked, “What now? It seems to me that a lot has happened in a short span of time. You know something you aren’t telling… Time to talk. And David? You have a story too. I want some answers from both of you."
