YES, finally someone else who feels the same way! Darn, was suckered into posting because of similar notions; guess I'm obligated to post an opinion now. Unpopular Opinion: Apple devices are the devil
Okay...just remember...in Legion's mind... Rome = Roman Empire. I don't care if it's inaccurate! Windows all the way. Apple is just TOO customer friendly; it's impossible to do anything more than use them like a normal person. Apple: In general, great for people who don't know what they're doing.
My general sentiments, too closed for me. I like to tinker with my devices. Another unpopular opinion: The rest of the world is just as ignorant as the US.
Hmm. The majority of people I know dislike apple with passion. In fact, I only know two Apple fans. Maybe they're more popular in the US, though.
Sadly... I have to agree. I was fed veal in Austria without being told; I thought it was pork. Delicious meat ;~;
I don't know if you can appreciate just how much effort it takes to produce a functional OS. When I say functional, I don't mean something like Windows. I mean something that can boot and can run and compile simple programs in a command line environment. That's about 800 man hours of dealing with insanity beyond reason or comprehension. Intel manuals do not make it any more fun either. Look at the GRUB bootloader, that's been an active project since 1999 and it's still not complete. Also Sun isn't really a company anymore, Oracle kind of devoured it. I dislike people that jump to conclusions.
unpopular opinion: you can't have a popular opinion, because the popularity of the opinion depends on where you are. opinions popular on a brony forum are not popular in the bible belt and vice versa
It's an opinion thread, not a discussion thread... but since you insist. Did I say I didn't appreciate what they did? No. I don't like some of the decisions they make as companies. In fact, I didn't say; "I dislike all supported computer OSs." I said I disliked the companies.
Alrighty! I like both anyway :3 Studied both for a few years in Classical Studies. I, for one, prefer Linux based systems. But still, Windows over Apple.
A good deal of stupid decisions large companies make, they have to m, because of their shareholders. Also, sorry, can't resist putting in my 2 cents. :derpe: I strongly dislike share holders.
I dislike the ideology of completely disregarding the guidelines of a certain group(s) because of pre-emptive assumptions only conceived from people who don't know that group very well, and people who say they are in the group, rather than the actual merit of such guidelines. In short, I dislike what most of the internet is glorifying. (the group(s) I am talking about include, but are not limited to, Feminism and Christianity) I like the SCP wiki-dot site, and the reason I assume this is an unpopular opinion is the same reason I like it so much, that an SCP document or story written and posted up on Deviantart would get comments ranging from 'its ok, I guess' to 'wow this is really good', but if posted on the SCP site it would get comments ranging from 'needs a lot of re-writing here, here and here, seriously why did you post this' to 'this is the worst thing I have ever read and I wish I could travel back in time to claw my own eyes out so I would never have seen this abomination of literature'. Because sometimes you really do need a system that forces people to put out work of a higher quality because of seemingly unreasonable demands. I'm used to people disagreeing with me. I have a tendency to say stuff that I expect no one to agree with. My most common thought of writing posts like this is the thought that people will verbally abuse me for what I wrote, (hopefully) not because of the quality, but because of the ideas presented. I am incredibly fearful of what the responses will be to this post.
They are really popular around here as development platforms since they have an in built linux kernel. Unpopular opinion: I can't think of another unpopular opinin at the moment.
Ohh, since we're talking about unbalanced sample selection pools and stuff: Unpopular opinion (on the internet): I am conservative~!
Also Republican by what the stances are, but I don't care for many of the politicians that make the light, (on either side...) but I don't think the second part is an unpopular opinion. I like many of the choices the Sony corporation has made. (Ever since they've learned from the Beta incident, that is.)
