OMG- THANK YOU! I've tried to get into it multiple times because my friends enjoy it. I really don't see the appeal. - - Auto Merge - - I think video games are boring, I don't enjoy them except on rare occasions and I usually only like older systems and games. I think Star Trek jumped the shark after Star Trek The Next Generation. I really hate the newest Star Trek movies. I didn't like Equestria girls. I can't stand the 11th Doctor and think the writing on Doctor Who has gone downhill since Stephen Moffat has taken over. I think Joss Whedon is overrated (I'm not saying I don't like him, I just think fans worship him more than he deserves). I don't find Ryan Gosling attractive or interesting at all. Now, I prepare for the hate.
The things. You said them. (I didn't like Eequestria girls either, but I feel like that's less unpopular of an opinion than these particular ones.) Let's see, uh... I think Pochahontas and The Little Mermaid are pretty awful. They look nice, but haven't got much else going for them. Oh and Christopher Nolan isn't a all that good of a writer/director.
I agree with you about the Christopher Nolan thing. I wasn't that big of a fan of the Batman movies. They were just alright in my opinion. I also don't like the Little Mermaid, the original story is much more interesting, but I think the Disney movie is awful. I'm sort of ambivalent about Pocahontas. Also, I'm really dislike Elementary. I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan, I have the books and Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is my favorite Sherlock adaption. But I really dislike Elementary because I know they're trying to hookup Watson and Sherlock as a couple. I don't know if they have, I stopped watching after 11 episodes. Also, he's not all that amazing in the show. I feel like they dumbed everyone else down so that Sherlock comes off as more intelligent, and that to me seems like lazy writing. I also think that the latest Sherlock movies were pretty terrible too.
Christopher Eccleston is the best Doctor. The Hunger Games is actually really good and the constant comparisons to Battle Royale get tiring. Yes, Battle Royale is Japanese and bloodier. That doesn't necessarily make it leagues better.
Raising the hate shields... -I can't stand most anime, mainly because I find almost every single trope associated with Japanese animation to be horribly obnoxious: everything from the repeated use of the same frames of animation, to the ridiculous facial expressions, to the so-over-the-top-it's-literally-not-funny slapstick [cue tsundere punching unintentional perv into the sky where he turns into a star], to the endless array of shameless Mary-Sue characters with seemingly limitless power, to the outrageously annoying shouting, to the boatloads of unnecessary exposition that can be conveyed easily and much more quickly through non-dialogue scenes, to the endless fanservice (an alarming amount of which unfortunately focuses on preteen girls)...I could definitely go on, but I think I've made my point. -FFX was the best FF title…of the PS2/3 era. And in my opinion, that's not saying much. Hated the setting, hated the plot, and hated the characters, especially Tidus. Worst. Hero. Ever. -FFVII is overrated. The story was butchered by the horrendous, blunt force trauma translation, and I always saw the general anime look of the game as a cheap ploy to cash in on the anime craze that was exploding at the time. FFVIII definitely took things in a better direction as far as the presentation was concerned. -Speaking of translation, I actually enjoy localization and dubs. For example, Ted Woolsey's transcript of FFVI >>>>>>>> the literal translation of the original Japanese script. -Western RPGs > JRPGs on the grounds that sandbox exploration > linear storytelling. -Twilight Princess was the weakest of the 3D Zelda games spanning from OoT to, well, TP. It looked quite nice, but gameplay-wise it didn't really break any new ground compared to its predecessors, and I absolutely hated the whole wolf thing. If the game could somehow be rewritten to omit the wolf sections, I'd probably enjoy it more than Wind Waker. Maybe.
oh boy... I hate Halo, most JRPGs, PewdiePie, Grand Theft Auto (every single one of them), Thor, Naruto, and Captain America I like the Star Wars prequels, The Amazing Spider Man, Call of Duty, Dynasty warriors, and dare I say it... Sonic 06 Flame shield up!
I hate Modern Family and Big Bang Theory with an absolute passion. Absolute Garbage.... That's all for now, I'll say more if you ask me nicely. (Hate shields deployed)
Ah yes, the Big Bang Theory, the show that relies pretty solely on stereotypes, sexual humor, and "nerd awkwardness" for the entire basis of it's "comedy". Yes, it is so obvious that they chose Sheldon to come from Texas because of Texan stereotypes, don't need to look any further than his mother. Gah, I hate how much my family watches that show...
I love anime, especially Death Note, Detective Conan\Case Closed, Ouran High School Host Club, Hell Girl, Full Metal Alchemist, and Powerpuff Girls Z. I've seen more than that, but those are my favourites. I also read some manga like Naruto and also Death Note. I love both anime and manga!
Skylander's is not enjoyable. It's not even enjoyable, just a seemingly endless cash-grab that is advertised CONSTANTLY at Australian youth after they are desensitized by TV. Not to mention figures cost about $15 each. Your better off getting Disney Infinity. At least that is actually good.
Hate sheilds at 100% captain. I hate, hate, hate gta as well as loud cars, pbs and haters. I do on the other hand like reading shipfics, looking for mlp fim comic strips and drawing cutie marks because i have developed a knack for it. Hate sheilds bracing for impact captain.
As much as I love Megadeth and Dave Mustaine's guitar playing and lyrics, I hate his friggin' voice! It sounds like a damn dentist's drill!
