I really hate MLP overanalyzers...no, not the ones who do it just for fun (such as myself). No, I hate the ones who treat this show like it's "srs business". The ones with knee jerk reactions to literally everything, stomping their fedoras into the ground at the first sign of the writers going in a direction they don't personally like. "Oh, another CMC episode?" *set phasers to whiny* "Oh, ____ was slightly out of character in this episode?" *set phasers to b****y* "Oh, something contradicted my headcanon?" *set phasers to RAGE* Yes, overreact to a children's cartoon. It's the clear solution to the problem.
The world has too many people in it. Selectively removing 90% of the world's population would be reasonably beneficial and result in greater sustainability; this wasn't my thought first, but it does get my agreement.
Fedoras are cool, when they're not Trilbies. Trilbies are fine, when they're acknowledged to be a Trilby. It brings me infinite disdain that people are unable to distinguish between the two.
It's called "culling the herd," and has been quite successful in managing wildlife overpopulation. I'm with you on this one.
And at doing that, would cause mass chaos. Because let's face the facts. If someones life is threatened they will stop at almost anything to prevent it from ending. Thus causing massive wars and probably ending the entire existence of our race. Also, probably harming the earth even further.
You are talking about a means to an end, our discussion was about the end itself; the process of achieving it is abstracted away and assumed to have been completed successfully. Sent from my SHIELD using Tapatalk
Do you know what grinds my gears ? That on Australian TV, I have at least 20 normal "free" channels and that six of them are infomercials channels. Why cant Australia be cool and have the Hub, Adult Swim and seemingly all of the good TV channels?
Because you're not 'Murrica. Also, the Hub and Cartoon Network/Adult Swim aren't free. They're actually quite expensive.
I agree wholeheartedly. They're some of the most irritating people in the fandom. --------- I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I like a man who is hardly a man at all. Very feminine, and sensitive. I guess it's mostly because I prefer women. I don't like overly masculine men who are blinded by their masculinity, and try desperately to act 'tough' but instead just look like major douches. It's a huge turnoff for me.
Well, that's one way of summing it up. I have Foxtel, which is essentially Cable, and it's at least $140 per month for almost 90 channels. The essentials package has what the company believes are the 'most important' channels and costs $45 per month. And even then, depending what part of the day your watching it, there is nothing on so I end up watching TCM, Chinese martial art films or anything that catches the slightest amount of interest. Because on normal TV, the majority of shows on there are pathetic. I wish some cable channels were free for normal TV.
And would you guys concider the Hub a good channel? There's only one show which airs there which I'd watch. The rest of the good stuff's on CN In the UK you get about 50 channels on Freeview, which is nice. If I were to upgrade, it'd literally Only be to get Cartoon Network. Nothing else matters, and I ain't paying £30 per month for that alone. I wish there were more good channels on Sky, so I might have an excuse to upgrade...
The United States of America is the greatest country on Earth, and anybody that believes otherwise is either an idiot, a traitor, or an ignorant foreigner.
I know that my opinion of the U.S. is unpopular. That's why I posted it in this thread. I don't expect you to agree with me, but don't you dare accuse me of faking patriotism.
Speaking from pure fact, I accused you of nothing; I'm entitled to my opinion, and I never stated what it was in reference to.
