It just gets more incoherent and adventure time just falls flat. Odd since the first few seasons were interesting. Or never existed alltogether considering how many idiots ity created.
Well... -"Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" is one of the most awesome movies ever made, and the best action-horror-fantasy movie in years -I think Film Brain is an overrated hack -I think Doug bringing back Nostalgia Critic was a bad idea. "Demo Reel" was just getting good when he cancelled it. The Nostalgia Critic show, on the other hand, has been going downhill ever since "The Odd Life of Timothy Green", with more stinkers than sucesses, and doesn't have the constant stream of quality that the pre-To Boldly Flee episodes have -I think Doug turning Mara Wilson into a human punchline is nothing sort of despicable. Even more so using her real-life tragic past as the tragic past for someone who turned out to be just Nostalgia Critic with amnesia. -I think Doug owes an apology to Wiccans, Goths, macrophiliacs, anime fans, and Japanese people in general -I don't think the Irate Gamer is as bad as they make him out to be. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he is GOOD, he does indeed suck. But he sucks just like LordKat, Pat the NES Punk, Benzaie or even JewWario (who I'm not gonna pretend was good just because he's dead) suck. Irate Gamer is not this horrible bane of the internet. -I think CinemaSins is an immature jackass who needs to grow the fack up and stop sounding like he's a 14 year old pretending to be cool -I think American McGee ruined Lewis Caroll's original vision, and I wish for a work that faithfully adapta Caroll's original book, with zero McGee influences -I think Wasp works better as a heroine who grows to giant size rather than as one who shrinks to miniature size -I don't think Superman should kill. Even if he did OCCASSIONALLY in the comics, it's not something that people should readily accept as part of his character. -I think "Princess and the Frog" is the last good movie in the Disney Animated Canon, and I think "Frozen" is overrated -I think "The Croods", "Megamind" and "Monsters VS Aliens" should get the same amount of praise that "Rise of the Guardians" and "How To Train Your Dragon" get -I think arthouse movies are boring and pretentious, I find "mainstream" movies to me much more enjoyable -I don't think Woody Allen is funny -I think the Blockbuster Buster is HIGHLY underrated, and is one of those guys that could have been in the big leagues if he just got more publicity -I think Black Angry Nerd only works when he is genuinely angry and ranting -I think Big Hero 6 SHOULD use elements from the larger Marvel Universe.
The original Mario Kart wasn't That great a game. I appreciate it sparked off an awesome series, but the game itself was quite bland. Perhaps Multitap support would have changed my mind. Though I could imagine that might cause slowdown.
-I'm tired of everyone whining about how Metallica "sold out" even though most of the other Big 4 bands went downhill in much worse ways. While Metallica drifted over to something in the vein of 'blues metal', Megadeth downgraded from metal to hard rock, and Anthrax...oh, Anthrax. I don't even know WHAT they became when Bush replaced Joey. Something in the vein of crappy nu metal. -Slayer is the only Big 4 band that didn't radically change their sound. Sure, they consistently abused their 7-string guitars for a few of the later albums, and Diabolus in Musica was an absolute bomb (except for Point, which is one of my favorite songs ever), but they still maintained the basic thrashy feel they started with, and their aggression never once waned.
I have a very strong distaste for all the 'mainstream' metal bands. In my eyes: The more obscure, the better.
As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with you in every way. -------- I don't remember if I've said this before, but sports... like, who the **** cares? Well, apparently a lot of people, but I don't care in the slightest. Unless I'm playing, (which I don't do often) I couldn't care less.
I honestly do not understand the fascination people have with watching persons play a game, as opposed to play said game themselves. The same goes for e-sports (ie. Professional gaming). Although, if there's anything that I understand even less, it would have to be the concept that is 'Fantasy Football'; I do not think there are enough palms in the world - and this includes that of the variety of tree - that I may apply unto my face to express my disdain for the existence of this concept.
I agree completely. I see absolutely no point in sports games. Unless it's something like Mario Strikers that adds wacky items and powerups that make it actually interesting, the concept it just imbecilic. If you want to play football, go gather up some friends and play some football. It's good exercise.
Well, therein lies the inherent problem; in our society, I don't think that many people actually have friends. Unless you were to include those from Facebook, but playing football with those might be a little hard given the usual distances.
You have a point. I have a good amount of friends, but I live a good 30 minutes from a most of them, and hours away from the rest, and the only running automobile I have at the moment is a gas guzzling Winnebago. On the topic of sports, I do enjoy watching boxing on occasion, even if it's among the most inane sports out there. There's just something entertaining about seeing people knock the lights out of each other.
I think that science and theoretical physics are cool, especially when we talk about how we're studying how to make teleportation and interstellar travel into more practical sciences. I also like the idea of searching for dark matter and dark energy. But every time I talk to a friend or family member over the age of forty about it, they give me the same eye-roll and skepticism that I'm sure makes them feel very superior and smug. But facts are facts. Just because something is a theory does not make it's practical use impossible, just far away. Those conversations always end with an elderly person patting me on the head and saying something like, "Sure, okay, that sounds very nice," and so I've given up on talking to any older person about these things unless they approach me first. If something seems to challenge your worldview, then rather than dismiss it as too radical to be true maybe you should do a google search and read a book about it. They say my generation is ignorant, but my unpopular opinion is that we were raised by ignoramuses. No disrespect to you scientifically literate 40-years-and-wiser people out there. I mean, look at Michio Kaku and Stephen Hawking.
That's pretty much the reason I opted to join a martial arts group; it provides an excellent amount of routine activity - and stress relief in the form of freely hitting dummies and persons alike - and doesn't require any sort of scheduled meetup. Speaking of cars, I finally have a replacement for the 30 year old death trap I used to drive around. The aforementioned vehicle was impressive in that it literally only did some 10.6mpg (22L / 100km).
