You have a point Maple, if your getting frozen lobster that was killed soon after it was caught is better than choosing one in a cage and then having someone drop it into boiling water. Oh cruel fates, why do you torture those red things?
I like Flash Sentry and think they should have Twilight Sparkle at least go on a date with him on the show. In a cute, adorkable way of course.
You have to admire the passion Adolf Hitler put behind his speeches even though what he was saying was detestable.
I actually agree with you, mod person. I think most bronies who complain about Flash are losers who are jealous of a fictional stallion, and actually believe that Twilight belongs with them.
Actually, the best way to cook lobsters is to drop them, alive and awake, headfirst into a pot of boiling water. It's not pleasant, but death is almost instantaneous, and really no more cruel than any other method of slaughtering food animals. - - Auto Merge - - He may have a complete psychopath, but his methods of public speaking were revolutionary, are are still used today. - - Auto Merge - - EqG is canon, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. *evil laugh*
Huh, well alright then. Wasn't really sure if it was instantaneous that way but I'll take your word for it. Good to know though cause that saves time. Yea well. I personally don't really care much for EQG and what's canon where that's concerned. Just dumb comments.
I hate the term, "meme". I've always thought it sounded annoying, and once I looked up its meaning, I hated it more. I think the idea that ideas behave like genes and are subject to natural selection is complete BS. It all sounds like needless academic jacking off in my opinion.
Agreed. Maymays are just generally terrible things. Unless done ironically. Everything's good done ironically.
I just don't like the word. initially, I though the word was me me, because the people making them were looking for attention. Also, I don't like ironic humor. Ironic humor is for bullies.
I think Firefly and Game of Thrones are both boring as hell! Sat through several episodes of Firefly during their marathon just before they got cancelled was a snoregasm. Game of Thrones I haven't been able to watch for more then like 5mins, I'd rather watch "Manos" Hands of Fate twice back to back then see one episode of GoT all the way through. I liked Dead Rising 2 for Xbox and the movie Basketball ^_-
I'm enjoying Game of Thrones, but it's still really overrated. It's like some people have never seen a drama before, the praise they lavish upon it. Again, I like it, and it's well-made, but I think AMC has surpassed HBO in quality original programming. Between Mad Men, The Walking Dead, and the late, great Breaking Bad, GoT falls short.
I like Game of Thrones so much simply because I adore fantasy, and love the setting. Of course, Game of Thrones is very realistic for a fantasy, and honestly doesn't have too many fantasy tropes, but it's still got dragons and castles and some magic. I'm normally not a fan of war or politics, but I feel Game of Thrones does these themes very well, and makes it extremely interesting. I love reading up on the history of Westeros, and have spent hours doing so. While I ****ing HATED history class, I love the history of the seven kingdoms, mostly because it's not our world, and it does have some fantasy aspects that make the whole thing a whole lot more interesting. In short, I'm just a big fan of fantasy, and things set in a medieval-esque world. I feel zombies have been done to death, and aren't very interesting, (Besides the zombie-like white walkers from Game of Thrones, huehuehue) so I never got into The Walking Dead. I did ADORE Breaking Bad, but... I simply enjoy the setting of GoT better. It's a matter of taste.
