The Upside Down (For Eluuna)

"Alright, then," she said, taking to the air and considering the ground again.

 

She laughed slightly, crossing her legs in midair and resting her hands on her knees.

"You and Sariel are the same. Don't worry."

 

She raised her hands and focused, trying to grow the trees.

 

She took a deep breath, trying to grow a third tree.

 

She let go of the other two trees, focusing solely on the third and rising in the air with it as it grew.

 

She followed it, floating higher and higher before willing vines to climb up the trunk.

 

She considered the vines for a moment before extending a hand, willing them to take hers.

 

She considered them for a moment before plummetting towards the ground.

 

She neared the ground quickly before stopping about five feet in the air.

 

She laughed, landing lightly on the ground.
