She splayed her hands, trying to find the right words. "I wasn't a good enough person when I was alive to be able to be good at healing," she said after a moment. "It won't work for me."
"No," she said, tilting her head. "People get their powers from how they died, right? I died some mysterious way, but I know I wasn't a good enough person to be good at healing."
"Two things, Adeline," Zad began. "Number one. You are good enough to do it. Number two. So far you have been able to use every power, so I don't think there's a limit."
She went pale and her gaze darted to him protectively. "What? No, I... I can't do that. What if I *squee!* it up? What if I hurt him?"
