She tugged at her hair, looking more nervous than they would have seen her. "I can't do that. We don't even know if I can do this kind of magic."
"I can't hurt him," she said, crossing her arms in return. "Is there something I could test on? Or... is there any way you could ensure that he wouldn't get hurt?"
He sighed, looked around for a moment before conjuring up a small daisy in his hand, tearing one of the petals. "Okay. Try this."
"Put your hand over it like this," he replied, demonstrating, "and picture a sort of warmth, alright?"
He paused, almost hesitant. "You know that feeling you have when you love someone and you see them and know they're well and happy? It's that feeling. Put that feeling into it."
She still seemed nervous, looking up at Zad for guidance, her gaze trusting. "But... what if that was just for plant material?"
