"But that might be a safer test."
She squinted at him, crossing her arms. "Ohh, *squee!*."
"Maybe just some targets?"
"That would be preferable, yes."
"We will try that."
"Okay. Where?"
He headed towards the door. "This way."
She groaned, following him. "I'm going to die, aren't I? Part two."
"You won't die."
"I'll be the first person to die in Inferno."
"I think you'll be fine."
“You don’t know me. Maybe my power is bad luck.”
"You didn't hit the ground."
"That's true..." she mused. "So now what do I do?"
"We're going outside to test some more."
"Lead the way, demon man."
He tilted his head before continuing.
She followed, brushing her fingertips along the hallway.
