"There is nothing wrong with that," he stated, just as a shadow passed over them. It was Warner's creature flying above, coming in to land.
Adeline raised an eyebrow, glancing back at Zadkiel. "I guess so," she said after a moment. "Zaddy says you're going to teach me how to shoot."
She laughed deeply, clearly delighted. "Zad," she said, raising her hands in surrender. "Zad said you'd teach me how to shoot."
Warner grinned mischievously. "Ah. You got it, Zaddy-o. Come along with me, Adeline." Zad seemed annoyed.
Adeline gave Warner an approving grin, looking extremely pleased with how the whole situation developed. "Oh, wonderfully done," she said enthusiastically, following Warner.
"You're going to shoot the targets," he replied, pointing behind her, where targets had seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
