He was watching her, his expression hard to read in the dim light. He stepped forward slightly, hugging her.
She was still for a moment before hugging him back, burying her face in his shirt, her arms around his neck as she shuddered.
Molly’s sobs were quiet, but loud enough to make it through into the closet. Addie held him tightly, trying to muffle the sound of her sister sobbing. It took a while, but eventually, Molly cried herself to sleep, buried under Addie’s covers.
"I haven't seen this place in 63 years," he replied, looking around. "Why don't we all grab a coffee or something?"
