She paused for a moment, looking embarrassed. “You can kiss all of me except my jaw,” she said quietly after a moment. “That’s only for people who are in love with me.”
She shrugged slightly. “It was just always my rule. Mouth is fine. Neck is wonderful. But the jaw is special.”
“Yeah,” she said, resting her chin on his chest. “It’s nice, you know? It’s relaxing and good, and there’s nothing complicated about it.”
She kissed his skin lightly before sitting up, her hands flat on his chest, looking down at him. “I should probably go.”
“I mean, not that it hasn’t been fun,” she replied playfully, leaning down and kissing his chest again. “But if I stay any longer, I’d be ripping your clothes off. And then where would we be?”
