"Angel's never danced," he said uncertainly. "I'm just recalling from when I was human."
She tilted her head thoughtfully before nodding. "Okay. What's next?"
"Hm.. It depends on the type really. I think this is ballroom."
"We could find Zad and ask him to teach us?"
"I remember how. Just a little rusty."
“Okay, well... show me?”
He nodded, starting to dance.
She followed his lead, looking down at their feet uncertainly.
He kept steady, listening to the music.
She looked up at him, beaming at him affectionately. "We did it!"
"Tada!"
She laughed deeply, looking up at him. "Did you really just *squee!*ing say 'tada'?"
"Is that so bad?"
"It's not great," she told him. "But maybe that's angel-speak for 'I'm the coolest dude around'."
He rolled his eyes. "I think it's just fine."
She glowered but then looked back down at their feet. "We should go faster."
"Alright, we can do that."
They began to dance faster and Addie looked up at Sariel, grinning brightly. "How fast can you go?"
He looked at her almost nervously. "I've not tested.."
She smirked at him, raising one eyebrow. "Go."
