He disappeared into the crowd. Sariel appeared to have gotten his hands on some punch as he sipped it distractedly.
“Yeah,” she said, looking around. “I don’t know. I’m tired. Would you be okay if I did? Or do you want to dance more?”
She gave him a genuine smile, running her fingers through his feathers affectionately. “Great. Thanks, Sariel. I’ll see you later, okay?”
